However, in their current state in Boruto: Two Blue Vortexesthe ranking of the most powerful in the series has changed drastically. In the absence of Naruto and Sasuke there are quite a few characters Boruto they stepped up their game and showed how powerful they are.
At the moment, the list of the strongest characters in Boruto consists of modified cyborgs, godlike aliens, tailed beasts and geniuses. Indeed, the rankings have changed from a list dominated by elite ninjas to a much more diverse list full of unexpected contenders. Say hello to these characters who rule the world Boruto series currently.
Say goodbye to Naruto Uzumaki and welcome the new strongest character in Boruto
Naruto Uzumaki is powerful, but now there is one stronger ninja in Boruto.
Himawari Uzumaki
Himawari Uzumaki is one of the most improved characters Boruto. From an ordinary child with no combat experience, she became a full-fledged ninja who can stand up to the God Tree in a short time.
Although Himawari is far from an ordinary ninja thanks to her ties to the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans, no one expected her to become the incarnation of the Nine-Tails. In fact, he is more compatible with Kurama than Naruto, which means he has huge potential to surpass his father.
After awakening her Tailed Beast abilities, she could now unleash Tailed Beast Bombs one after the other, not to mention heal her injuries and extend the effects to others.
Sarada Uchiha
Sarada Uchiha surprised fans with her Mangekyo Sharingan ability knocked out Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes. Her Mangekyo Sharingan Ohirume completely obliterated Shinju Ryu, leaving only his thorn soul bulb. Her MS ability, which uses the force of gravity, can instantly kill a target, especially when they are caught off guard.
In addition to unlocking Ohirume, Sarada is now determined to face whatever challenges lie ahead. She is not afraid to face anyone, including her feelings for Boruto. More than anything else, she is motivated to follow her dreams, protect her friends, save the village, and one day become Hokage.
Code
Even though Code has been out of action for a while now, it goes without saying that he remains a powerful villain. He is the creator of the Shinju clones and without him they wouldn't have gotten their minds in the first place.
Before the time jump in Boruto, The Code was the strongest villain that Boruto and Sasuke had to overcome. He was also one of the reasons why Kawaki decided to seal Naruto in the Daikokuten dimension.
The code inherited from Isshiki Otsutsuki not only the white karma, but also his will. He is a loyal servant, and his obsession with completing his master's mission fuels his desire to grow stronger. After Amado removed the limiters, Boruto and Kawaki were no match for him.
Hidari
Hidari is a God Tree that emerged from Sasuke Uchiha, making him a significant threat to Konoha. His target is none other than Sarada and his goal is to absorb her using Sasuke's powers. While Hidari failed in his first attempt to eat Sarada, the next generation of ninja in Konoha found it difficult to stop him.
Like the other God Trees, Hidari can use the Claw Mark shinjutsu and combine it with Sasuke's abilities such as Chidori and Lightning Release. He can also use Fire Release on Earth, Water, and Wood. More importantly, he has the Rinnegan in both eyes.
Mamushi
Mamushi is another God Tree that emerged from the template. His chakra source is Bug and for some reason he also inherited his obsession with Eida. Right now, Mamushi is terrorizing Konoha with his ability called Division, which allows him to duplicate perfect copies of himself. This ability is much better than the regular Shadow Clone technique as his copy serves as his true self with the same mana and killing intent.
Mamushi also showed how powerful he was against Boruto when he appeared before him in Shinju's hideout. He was able to overpower Boruto and crash him into walls with ease. Like other shinju, he can also use Claw Marks to hide his chakra signature perfectly.
Demon
At first glance, Daemon looks like an ordinary child who likes to play tricks on others. He's playful and cheeky, but don't let his childlike appearance fool you. He has an overpowered shinjutsu called Reflection that allows him to use the powers and killing intent of his enemies against them.
No character Boruto managed to hurt Daemon, not even Boruto and Kawaki. Not to mention that no specific counterpoint to his abilities has been established, making him untouchable in the series.
Momoshiki Otsutsuki
Momoshiki Otsutsuki still terrorizes Boruto Uzumaki from within. Even though he was lying low after the time jump, it doesn't erase the fact that he still has immense power enough to convince Boruto to avoid karma.
And speaking of power, Momoshiki has a new role to fulfill Boruto. His power is key in defeating Jura and the God Trees, making him a game changer in Boruto's future battles with shinju clones. If he manages to control Boruto after his deal is completed, he will truly become a force to be reckoned with in the story.
Kawaki Uzumaki
Kawaki Uzumaki is Boruto's strongest rival, able to use Isshiki Otsutsuki's abilities without fear of losing himself. He can use the full power of his reconstructed karma, giving him access to various types of shinjutsu from Daikokuten, Sukunahikona, and more.
Just recently, Kawaki's limiters were disabled, giving him more power than ever. He can overpower Jura with combo attacks, surpass the regeneration of the God Tree, and even impale his eyes like a piece of meat on a skewer. It is expected to be even stronger when Amado adjusts his setup again.
Boruto Uzumaki
Boruto Uzumaki has come a long way in his own story. His rapid growth is very impressive, surpassing Naruto and Sasuke after the time jump. He even received exaggerated upgrades, from the Rasengan Uzuhiko, which uses earth chakra as firepower, to the Uchiha: Hagoromo style blade technique and the ability to use the full power of Karma without losing control.
Many characters helped Boruto become stronger in the series. Sasuke taught him everything he knew from ninjutsu and taijutsu to the way of the sword. Kashin Koji, on the other hand, accelerated his training by giving him information about his future powers, while Momoshiki lent him his Otsutsuki powers to defeat Jura.
Jura
Jura is the leader of the God Trees and probably the strongest character in Boruto right now. He is the direct incarnation of the juvenile Ten Tails, and his evolution rate is faster than anyone else's. His intellect is also impressive and the way he reacts and adapts to his environment shows how sharp his instincts are.
During the clash in the Land of Wind, Jura playfully tricked Boruto and Kawaki into thinking they could take him down. While he took damage from his enemies, his super regeneration healed his injuries effortlessly. From Boruto's point of view, defeating Jura will require not only his and Kawaki's strength, but also the full power of Momoshiki Otsutsuki.
Like other shinju, Jura can use Claw Marks for surprise attacks. He can also levitate, sequentially release accurate and devastating Tailed Beast Bombs, and use Wood Release. Aside from Boruto and Kawaki, Jura was also shown overpowering the Code with his powers. The rest of the Shinju in the series are also afraid of him.
