127 hours into BF6 I really miss the vehicle entry animation

I'll be honest, I was cautious Battlefield 6 before it launched, but it surprised me because I keep coming back to it between other games. While I love first-person shooters, and Battlefield in general, I'm usually pretty picky about the overall genre, but Battlefield 6 manages to tick all the right boxes for me. It's action-packed without being over the top, the map variety is solid, I like how most of the weapons are used, and the pace of Conquest matches can be incredibly immersive without being boring.

Although there is a lot that I love Battlefield 6i am missing one detail that makes me long for a Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 function: vehicle entrance animation. There has been some debate in the franchise community over the years regarding these animations, but ultimately the vehicle entry animations add another layer to the experience that Battlefield 6 unfortunately it is missing at the moment.

Why are vehicles heavier in Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5

On the surface, the lack of vehicle entrance animations may seem like a small detail that might annoy you, but it can really make a difference. From traversing to diving, these animations help matches feel more alive than just teleporting in and out of the tank. Honestly, the jolts, getting in and out, puts me out of the game for a while. Overall, the realism in the game is pretty solid, but there are still ways to go Battlefield 6 can be more immersive and adding vehicle entry animations is definitely one of them. Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 opt for realism over quick in and out and not only is it more satisfying, it makes for a more balanced experience.

Due to the vehicle animations, players cannot jump in and out of the vehicle to avoid being hit. Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5The methods also offer much more consistency and require players to really think about the timing of their vehicle entry. There's more strategy here as the animations force the player to slow down, resulting in a more powerful and heart-pounding FPS. Vehicles in Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 they don't just look better with entry animations, they feel a lot more meaningful. Battlefield 6 has made some controversial decisions, and scrapping vehicle entry animations deserves to be one of them, as it's a clear step in the wrong direction.

Vehicle immersion in Battlefield 6 can still be saved

Just because Battlefield 6 just because there weren't vehicle animations at launch doesn't mean they can't be added in the future. Of course, creating these kinds of animations is easier said than done, and while it would be a great addition, it's also not a necessity. Obviously no vehicle animations were a solution for me since I spent hours on the game, but I definitely miss it. in many ways Battlefield 6 this is one of the best posts in a long time but could be even better with some extra absorbing details.

Vehicles like the Panthera KHT, Cheetah 1A2 and F-39E could be climbed into and moved around. Whether it's switching seats or operating controls, Battlefield 6Vehicles could be taken to the next level. It wouldn't just be a fun addition to the game, it would make the first-person experience much deeper and significantly more alive.
