God Valley is coming to an end One piece. This particular segment of Loki's flashback was intense and contained a lot of interesting new lore, especially involving Blackbeard and Shanks. Through Rocks D. Xebec, fans learned more about One piece the world, especially when it comes to the Holiday Century. Eiichiro Oda finally revealed line Rocks D. Xebec in God Valley and again in Blackbeard. Their ancestor is none other than Davy D. Jonesthe man who ruled the world before Imu came and took his place.

Since usurping Jones, Imu has been hunting down the remaining members of the Davy Clan. Every one of them, except for Blackbeard and Eris, were killed in God Valley. Rocks D. Xebca's death was particularly tragic because he was turned into a slave demon and asked to kill his own family. Fortunately, Garp and Roger took him out at their own request.

All of this was especially traumatic for Blackbeard, and it may not even be the end of his tragedy, as his mother could very soon meet a bad end in a flashback. This dark past of Blackbeard basically causes Blackbeard to turn his anger towards one person and that is Imu. Imu stripped young Teach of everything, including his clan, his father, and even his mother.

No wonder Blackbeard has been scheming all these years and his goal is clear. He takes revenge on Im and reclaims his family's throne. Looks like Oda has already set up One Piece's greatest revenge in this Blackbeard plot.
