Naruto Uzumaki is one of the most popular characters in the whole Boruto franchise and quite easily also the strongest ninja of all time. Naruto wanted to become the Hokage of Konoha, and although the path was not easy, he eventually made it to the very top.
Naruto Uzumaki has been ruling as Hokage for quite some time now, but recent events Boruto the manga took care of that Konoha gets a new Hokage. In Lord Seventh's absence, replacements lined up for Naruto Uzumaki. Not all of them have the same potential, but some would certainly fill Naruto's steps perfectly and do a good job of replacing him.
Konohamaru Sarutobi
Apprentice of Naruto Uzumaki
Known as the current strongest Sarutobi, Konohamaru was surrounded by the powerful Hokage your whole life. He is the grandson of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobiand disciple of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Konohamaru himself wants to be the Hokage of Konoha, and although that is not easy to achieve, fans know for sure that he has it in him to replace Naruto Uzumaki. Konohamaru is still weak, but recently showed great potential in fighting Matsuri. He will continue to grow stronger in Boruto and the time will come when he will be mature enough to replace Naruto Uzumaki as Hokage. For now, he is one of the most likely candidates for the position of 8th Hokage.
Shikamaru Nara
Unofficial 8th Hokage
Right now, Konoha technically doesn't have a Hokage. Naruto Uzumaki was the last official Hokage and after his disappearance it was Shikamaru Nara who officially took over. But, Shikamaru is not the real 8th Hokage of Konoha. It only works temporarily. Shikamaru refuses to officially take the position of 8th Hokage and is also aware of the fact that Naruto Uzumaki is alive. It's highly likely that he won't be taking the position of 8th Hokage anytime soon, and he might even be branded a traitor for working with Naruto Uzumaki.
Sakura Haruna
Apprentice Hokage
If there is one person who truly deserves to be Hokage Boruto series, while currently present in Konoha, she is Sakura Haruno. She is a disciple of the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade Senjuand fans surely know that she is more than capable of becoming the Hokage of the village. Sakura is incredibly powerful and she's also smart. She knows how to lead and is able to defend the village even better than Tsunade Senju because she surpassed her. Really, Sakura would be the best replacement for Naruto right now with Sasuke Uchiha missing and Naruto alone.
Sasuke Uchiha
Second Hokage of Konoha
Known as the Other Hokage of Konoha, fans know this very well Sasuke would also be a perfect fit for the Hokage position in Boruto. The only problem is that Sasuke Uchiha is branded a traitor by Konoha and that the Shinju have incapacitated him. This means that Sasuke Uchiha will probably return much sooner than Naruto the defeat of Hidari will bring him back. Meanwhile, Naruto will only be freed after the battle between Boruto and Kawaki. In that sense, Sasuke will return much earlier than Naruto Uzumaki, and as that happens, the possibility of him returning to the village and becoming the next Hokage rises. With his experience and above all his strength, Sasuke Uchiha would be a perfect replacement for Naruto Uzumaki as the Hokage of the village.
Sarada Uchiha
Future Hokage of Konoha
Konoha doesn't have a Hokage at the moment and it's pretty clear how out of sync they are right now. However, their future is already decided, p Sarada Uchiha aims to become the next Hokage. Sarada is the best replacement for Naruto Uzumaki and she may be the only one who can truly carry the torch from the Seventh Hokage. Sarada carries the Will of Fire and knows the worth of each individual villager.
She also knows how to lead from the front, having done so on countless occasions. In addition Sarada is overwhelmed beyond beliefthanks to her recent Mangekyo Sharingan awakening, with more powers to come in the future. He will definitely become Hokage in the future and fans can be sure that he will replace Naruto well.
