5 Devil Fruits stronger than Robin Fruit

The following article contains spoilers for One Piece.

Devil Fruits are one of the most interesting parts One piecebecause they allow characters to have many different, supernatural abilities. IN One piece In-universe, the disadvantage of any Devil Fruit is the loss of the ability to swim, but specific fruits can have other weaknesses besides this. Still, the pros generally outweigh the cons, which is why many powerful characters in the series have eaten one.

Among the coolest fruits is Nico Robin's Hana Hana no Mi, one of the most versatile fruits that allows the user to blossom body parts on almost anything as if they were extensions of the user's body. However, any damage to these “sprouted limbs” will be felt as damage to the user's body. While this is a beneficial ability, there are many other fruits that are often considered stronger than Hana Hana, although they may not be as versatile as this fruit; most of them are mythical Zoan fruits.

X Drake

Ryu Ryu no Mi (Allosaurus) is a devil fruit that allows its user to transform into an allosaurus, a prehistoric predatory dinosaur that once existed in both the real world and the One Piece universe. She is often considered stronger than Robin's Hana Hana no Mi in some ways, such as strength and endurance (Hana Hana still seems to be more versatile than Ryu Ryu). So while Robin's fruit is more flexible, the Allosaurus model wins in raw durability. There are no known weaknesses yet, other than the normal weaknesses of any Devil Fruit.

She was eaten by “Red Flag” X Drake, captain of SWORD, Marine Special Forces and a former spy who went undercover as the leader of the Drake Pirates. As of the Egghead Arc, his whereabouts remain unknown.

Magu Magu no Mi, a rare Logia-type devil fruit, can be incredibly useful as it allows its user to control, transform, and even create magma at will. As with Ryu Ryu, it is considered stronger than Hana Hana in destructive power and combat, having the highest attack power among the Devil Fruits. Therefore, Hana Hana no Mi lacks utility, but more than makes up for it in sheer lethality. There are no known weaknesses other than the normal weaknesses of any Devil Fruit.

This fruit was first introduced during the Summit Wars Arc (but without revealing its name) and was eaten by Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, the main antagonist in the series, especially as the Final Saga unfolds.

Marco

Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) is a devil fruit that grants the power to transform into phoenixes and human-phoenix hybrids, and also grants the ability to self-regenerate. Although mostly used for defense so far, it is generally considered more powerful than Hana Hana no Mi, as it makes its users almost invincible (due to being able to instantly regenerate from any damage). In addition, it allows the user to heal others, grants the power of flight, and allows the use of shockwave based attacks. However, there is a limit to how much the user can nullify attacks, so they can exhaust themselves by overusing their power.

He was eaten by Marco, former commander of the Whitebeard Pirates and now a doctor living on the Sphinx. The Whitebeards have helped Luffy several times and Marco remains a key ally heading into the Final Saga.

Gura Gura no Mi

The Devil Fruit is now used by Blackbeard

Name

Gura Gura no Mi

Model

Current user

Blackbeard

Gura Gura no Mi is a devil fruit that allows the user to create massive shock waves and transform them into “Tremor Human”. It is said that the user could even destroy the world with his powers, but there are apparently some limits to his destructive powers; For example, Whitebeard was unable to destroy the Marineford base. One of its drawbacks is that its impact affects both enemies and allies. While it's leagues ahead of something like Hana Hana no Mi in terms of raw destruction, it requires immense control.

It was originally eaten by Edward Newgate, better known as Whitebeard. However, after defeating Newgate, Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard) absorbed its powers and remains the current user of the fruit.

Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika

Formerly known as Gomu Gomu no Mi

Luffy

Hito Hito no Mi (Nika) is a devil fruit that turns the user into a rubber man as their body gains rubbery properties after consumption and this effect seems to be permanent. It also allows the user to transform their body; there are five types of Gear, with Gear 5 being the awakening fruit. Therefore, it is more versatile and powerful than Hana Hana no Mi. However, there are some relevant weaknesses, such as being vulnerable to blades rather than blunt attacks. Also, when users stretch their limbs, they become quite vulnerable.

why are you crying mommy I will meet the Sun God. It is an honor to be chosen as a victim. If my life can be useful to the villagers, then I am happy.

—One Piece Chapter 287

The World Government renamed this fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi to hide its true origin as a legendary fruit related to the Sun God Nika. Joy Boy ate the fruit hundreds of years ago, but the current user is Luffy (who ate it before the story started).
