Roronoa Zoro is one of the most important characters in the world One piece and among the most prominent characters within the Straw Pirates. As the Combatant of the crew, Zoro gets into battles quite often and has reached an incredible level of strength over the years. Right now, Zoro ranks among the strongest swordsmen One piece world but is clearly not happy with the level of power he has. Zoro's goal is to defeat Dracula Mihawk, and that requires him to become even stronger. In the final saga of the story, Zoro will surely get more upgrades and there are a select few that will make him even stronger than the Yonko that Oda already hinted at.
3 female Yonko level characters in one piece
One Piece has a lot of powerful female characters, but only a handful of them are Yonko level.
Advanced Haki Armament
As for Zoro's Haki skill, Oda has already pointed out in the story that it is real master of Haki weapons. This Haki of Roronoa Zoro shines the most in the final saga of the story. So far, Zoro has only shown basic use of Armament Haki, but thanks to Enma, he has occasionally managed to develop advanced levels of it. As with his Conqueror's Haki, Zoro must learn how to properly control his Haki Armament. This will happen at some point in the Elbaf arc, or potentially in the future after it.
As Zoro learns to better control his Haki weaponry, he learns to deal deadly internal damage to his enemies. These advanced levels of Haki armor will surely come in handy against someone like Mihawk who is waiting for the throne of all swordsmen One piece the world to him. If Zoro is going to defeat Mihawk, he definitely needs to improve his Haki armor significantly.
Advanced Observation Haki
Even though Zoro specializes in Haki in his armor, it's not the only type of Haki he needs to further develop. If Zoro is to fight against the likes of Mihawk, who is known as Hawkeye specifically because his eyes don't miss anything, he needs to improve his Observation Haki tremendously. Right now Zoro has a pretty average Observation Haki and that needs to change in the Final Saga.
One of the biggest upgrades Zoro can get in the Final Saga story is Advanced Observation Haki. With this power, Zoro would be able to see into the future itself, and that would certainly be a huge advantage for him, especially when facing enemies like Mihawk. This power isn't a guarantee for Zoro, but it would definitely come in handy for someone like him. Since Luffy has advanced control over all three types of Haki, Zoro could become just like him in that regard. With this Observation Haki, Zoro would become much better at reading enemy attacks and create bigger openings in battle. When he eventually moves on to fight Mihawk, this power will come in handy as it will surely allow him to deal with the threat he poses much better than ever.
Black blades
One of the power-ups that Oda practically confirmed for Zoro in the final saga gains a black blade. Right now Zoro wields three swords, they are Wado Ichimonji, Enma and Sandai Kitetsu. None of the three swords are blackened, but as confirmed in the Wano arc, all swords can be permanently blackened. When that happens, they go up. Zoro hasn't blackened any swords yet, but with Armament Haki constantly replenishing, his swords can definitely be blackened. When this happens, they will rise in rank, meaning Zoro will gain a significant power boost.

At some point in the final sagas, Zoro's swords will surely turn black. When it does, it will take his overall abilities to the next level, bringing him closer to the Yonko than ever before, and potentially even surpassing them.

Fully mastered Conqueror's Haki
If Zoro is really going to get past Yonka level, he has to master your Conqueror Haki correctly. Zoro first used the power of Conqueror's Haki in his fight against Kaido by accident. Against King, Enma brought out his Conqueror's Haki to the fullest, allowing him to defeat the Yonko Commander. However, it is a fact that Zoro still does not know how to use this power properly, as stated by Scopper Gaban in the Elbaf Arc.
Without knowing how to use it properly, Zoro cannot truly harness his inner power. As such, one of his biggest tests in the Elbaf Arc of One Piece is to fully master Conqueror's Haki and take his overall skills to the next level. Once he does that, Zoro will be closer to Yonko level than ever before, and eventually even go beyond it. All that being said, keep in mind that Zoro specializes in Armament Haki and not Conqueror's Haki. But still, mastering this type of Haki will certainly give him a significant power boost as well as improve his overall usefulness in battle. Since he can fight against similar Saint Knights with this power, Zoro needs it badly.
King of Hell Asura
Arguably the most powerful power-up Zoro can get in the final saga One piece it can take him past the Yonko level is his King of Hell: Asura. Zoro first used the power of the King of Hell in the Wano Country arc in a battle against the King. He then used this power again in the battle against Lucca. He is incredibly powerful as he sees Zoro fully utilize his armor and Conqueror's Haki at the same time.
However, the King of Hell can become even more powerful if Zoro pairs him with Asura. With these two abilities combined, Zoro will essentially be using the King of Hell's Nine Swords style, and this would make him a scourge that anyone could face in battle. Hopefully, the final One Piece saga will give fans the style of the King of Hell's nine swords, and it is this form that may push him past the level of Dracula Mihawk. By the time Zoro unleashes this power, he will certainly be ahead of the vast majority of the Yonko world of the One Piece, with Shanks likely being the only one above his overall level. Clearly, Zoro's future in One Piece looks incredibly exciting, and fans absolutely can't wait to see what upgrades he ends up getting in Elbaf and what Oda has in store for the rest of his journey before defeating Dracula Mihawk.
