While new PS5 games drop almost every week, most of the time the games are fairly spread out so they don't all drop at once. The exception to this rule is this coming Monday, December 8, when five new PS5 games will be released on the exact same day. How this might affect their sales is unclear, but it's certainly an interesting line-up of games released on December 8th.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is one of the most notable PS5 games coming out on December 8 because it will actually be published by Xbox Game Studios. For those who don't know the game, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is exactly what its name suggests — an updated flight simulator where players fly planes and other planes around the world. It hasn't quite earned the same level of praise as its immediate predecessor, but it's still a massive simulation experience for aviation enthusiasts to check out. It's a bit more substantial and might be enough to convince die-hard fans Yakuza 0 rewatching it on PS5.
What makes December 8th even more unusual in terms of new PS5 games dropping that day is the fact that it's a Monday. New video game releases usually drop on Tuesdays and Fridays, and sometimes even Thursdays. It's definitely unusual for all of these games to be released on a Monday, but it should be a more exciting Monday than what PS5 gamers are used to.
