In its latest financial report, Nintendo highlighted six Switch 2 exclusive games coming to the home console/handheld hybrid in the relatively near future. The Switch 2 got off to an incredible start, becoming the fastest-selling console ever made thanks to a strong launch line-up followed by challenging games like Donkey Kong Banana and Kirby Air Riders.
The Switch 2 is still in its first year, but it's wasting no time releasing more exclusive games to keep early adopters happy and attract new players. Nintendo's plans for 2026 are still mostly a mystery at this point, but this week's Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase event should help fill in the coming months. Meanwhile, Nintendo itself has plenty of first-party games on the way to its latest console, and decided to confirm some of them in its latest financial report.

Nintendo hasn't really revealed much about its first-party plans beyond March, so expect a non-partner Nintendo Direct demo to be solidified at some point soon Yoshi and the mysterious bookrelease date and provide a clearer picture of what to expect from Nintendo this spring.
Later in 2026, Switch 2 owners can also look forward to it Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. The Fire sign games are consistently some of Nintendo's most acclaimed games, and there's no reason to expect anything else from them. Fortune's Weave. If Fortune's Weave After meeting the announced 2026 release window, Switch 2 owners should then have an incredible new strategic adventure in their hands sometime this year.
and finally, Splatoon Raiders still has a “TBD” release window. Splatoon Raiders is an interesting game for one player Splatoon franchise and I personally can't wait to learn more about her. Hopefully it will be released in 2026 as well, though that remains to be seen.
Big Switch 1 games will also be released in 2026
The Switch 2 is of course backwards compatible with the original Switch, so games released for the older console are also relevant to the platform.
