One of the best parts about Dragon Ball Super main characters get their own unique transformations. After Goku unlocked Ultra Instinct in the Tournament of Power, even Gohan and Piccolo managed to gain their own personal forms to keep up with the franchise's ever-increasing power scaling. Since the Granolah Saga, Vegeta has unlocked his own transformation to be on par with Ultra Instinct Goku: Ultra Ego.
5 Dragon Ball Super Characters Stronger Than Ultra Instinct Goku
As of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Ultra Instinct Goku is weaker than his rival, his son, and even the other main villain of the series.
In terms of raw Power Level, Ultra Ego Vegeta is actually stronger than Ultra Instinct Goku (for now). The base is Vegeta, and at the end, defeat Goku's base Dragon Ball Super: Super Herotemporarily making him the strongest Saiyan after Gohan. Unfortunately, Ultra Ego has many disadvantages and Dragon Ball SuperThe cast is stronger than ever.
Orange Piccolo has a real chance of defeating Ultra Ego Vegeta
Dragon Ball it works on a very simple logic: the last power-up is always the strongest. Akira Toriyama has confirmed that writing is one of his main goals Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was to make Piccolo strong enough to rival Goku and Vegeta again, which is why the introduction of Orange Piccolo was culminating in the film. While all signs point to Ultra Ego Vegeta being stronger than Orange Piccolo in terms of power levels, Piccolo may actually be stronger. It wouldn't be the first time that Piccolo surpassed Vegeta, as he is stronger at the end of the Frieza saga and in the middle of the Cell saga. Piccolo is also a smarter fighter than Vegeta, so in theory he could push Vegeta to exhaustion without losing to Ultra Ego.
Ultra Ego Vegeta was not strong enough to extinguish itself
Thanks to Elec's wish for the Dragon Balls, his brother Gas temporarily became the strongest character in the Dragon Ball universe. Goku and Granolah defeat him with only the most strategic fighting possible, but even so, Gas rises stronger than ever and is defeated for good once Black Frieza appears and effortlessly kills him. Vegeta isn't doing much better when he's fighting Gas himself.

Akira Toriyama understood his characters better than anyone, and the paneling and storytelling of the Dragon Ball manga is honestly on another level.
Although Ultra Ego grows stronger the more Vegeta fights and takes damage, Elec's wish makes Gase constantly age and grow stronger whenever he is bested. Vegeta puts up a good fight early on, for what it's worth, but pushes himself so hard and so far that he runs out of Ki before the end of the battle and loses Ultra Ego just as he's about to land a massive blow on Gas. Ultra Ego just isn't practical enough to take on an enemy like Gas.
Granolah barely beats Ultra Ego Vegeta
Granolah Saga is right after L for Vegeta. Despite unlocking a new transformation in the Ultra Ego arc, Vegeta doesn't win a single fight. UE Vegeta doesn't do much better than Gas against Granolah. Like Gas, Granolah wished to become the strongest being in the universe on the Dragon Balls. By changing for most of his life, Granolah transforms into one of the most powerful characters Dragon Ball history.
During their fight, Granolah is depicted as a transparent film on Ultra Ego Vegeta. Where Vegeta fights with raw brutality, Granolah remains precise and strategic and slowly wears Vegeta down. Worse, Ultra Ego Vegeta forces Granola to awaken and develop his left eye to full power, making him even more deadly. In the end, Granolah is able to subdue Granolah before the battle escalates into a final showdown with Gas.
Ultra Ego Vegeta has nothing on Gohan Beast
Gohan Beast is currently the strongest unfused hero in the Dragon Ball Super. After Piccolo's fake death in Dragon Ball Super: Super HeroGohan unleashes all of his latent potential into his brand new Beast form. From there, Gohan Beast kills Cell Max and then goes to Beerus' Planet to fight Goku. Notably, Gohan Beast is so powerful that he actually knocks Goku out of Ultra Instinct during their fight, confirming him as the strongest Saiyan in the series.

The main characters of Dragon Ball Super are stronger than ever and each of them has a powerful transformation that will probably be the key to stopping Black Frieza.
While Ultra Ego is stronger than Ultra Instinct, there is no way Vegeta can beat Gohan Beast as it is now. Gohan Beast is just as ferocious as Ultra Ego, but without any of the disadvantages associated with the form. Saiyan Battle Royale at the end Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103 also quietly confirms Gohan as a stronger character. Aside from Broly, Gohan is the only character sitting and is shown to have taken the least amount of damage, while Vegeta is clearly out.
Black Frieza defeated Ultra Ego Vegeta in one hit
Although Gohan Beast may be the strongest hero in the Dragon Ball SuperBlack Frieza is the strongest mortal. When Frieza found an abandoned hyperbolic time chamber while exploring the multiverse, he hid and trained for years until he unlocked his black form. Since Frieza was outside of Universe 7 at the time, this also means that Granolah and Gase's wish to become the most powerful beings in the universe was not considered by Frieza.
When Black Frieza suddenly appears at the end of the Granolah Saga, he kills Gas like he was nothing, then takes out both Ultra Ego Vegeta and Ultra Instinct Goku with a single punch. Frieza only lets them live because they are so much weaker than him. The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero The manga adaptation confirms that Goku and Vegeta are still training to defeat Black Frieza, but they'll have to get a lot stronger before they even have a chance.
Vegeta still has a long way to go before he's on Beerus' level
In many ways, Ultra Ego is an homage to Vesper Beerus. The Granolah saga begins with Beerus giving Vegeta the God of Destruction earring and ends with Vegeta unlocking a form that greatly elevates from his training with Beerus. Ultra Ego stands in stark contrast to Ultra Instinct. Where Ultra Instinct is a technique developed by angels for angels, Ultra Ego is a technique developed by the Gods of Destruction for the specific purpose of destroying.
Unfortunately, even Ultra Ego isn't enough to bring Vegeta up to Beerus' level. Beerus is still the most powerful God of Destruction Dragon Ball Superand whenever Vegeta or Goku make substantial progress, Beerus is revealed to be still one step ahead. It's unlikely that Vegeta could ever beat Beerus at this rate, but Ultra Ego at least levels the playing field.
Vegito is tied with Gogeta as the strongest Suepr Saiyan and character in Dragon Ball
It stands to reason that a character who is half Vegeta will be stronger than Vegeta. Both Vegito and Gogeta are fusions of Goku & Vegeta, combining all of their powers and abilities into one supremely powerful combined warrior. Vegito is the result of combining Goku and Vegeta with the Potara earrings and was previously the strongest character in the Dragon Ball Z. Vegito was last seen in the Goku Black Saga where he came very close to defeating Fused Zamasu before the fusion wore off due to Vegito's raw power.
Vegito is an interesting case. He is so powerful that the Potara earrings only keep Goku and Vegeta connected for a few minutes, especially when Vegito changes color to Super Saiyan Blue. This means that Vegito is so strong that he could probably take on Ultra Ego Vegeta as a regular Super Saiyan. The same goes for Gogeta, a fusion dance variant of Goku and Vegeta.
