Former Ghibli employees are working on a brand new anime

Ghibli is one of the most decorated studios in the world. The studio created by Hayao Miyazaki has created many timeless classics that they remember today. People working with studies are clearly talented and their skills are reflected in the projects they produce.

Some former Ghibli employees were quite busy because they were working on a new anime called Cocoon. According to the reports Cocoon will be one episode that is 60 minutes long. The anime broadcast will begin in March 2025.

Cocoon Anime Staff & Cast

Cocoon manga is based on a real story from World War II. Anime is directed by Ina Yukimitsu in the Sasayuri studio. Hitomi Taten is a producer of animation and Kensuke Ushio composes music for anime. The cast information was limited. So far, it has been confirmed that Hikari Matsushima (one piece) plays Maya while Marika Ito Voices San. Other members of the cast are likely to be revealed in the coming days.

Cocoon is based on the manga of the same name written by Machiko kyō. Manga began serialization in the magazine Eve Eve Akita Shothen, which processes Josei Mango. Cocoon released his first chapter 26 March 2009 and ended in May 2010. Chapters of Manga were compiled into a single volume.
