Baldur's Gate 3 originally represented Halsin Killing Isobel

Summary

  • Halsin originally had a more interesting storyline.

  • Originally planned to kill Isobel.

  • It is not clear whether the sex of the bear is still on the table.

When you think of a narration that is as complex and flexible as the narration of the Baldur's gate 3, you can't help, but wonder how earlier designs would be approved. Maybe Astarion was among the three selected, maybe Scratch was the original character and maybe Wulbren wasn't that bad. In fact, the last one seems unlikely.

It's official, Baldur's Gate 3 is the new Skyrim

We will talk about this game for ten years and more.

You can be sure that the narrative has seen hundreds of iterations before it was seated, and each of these iterations would organize screenplays that now seem strange when the game is outside – some alternative shenanigans time axis. We still encounter such a content 2 years after launch and we have just found another with Halsin.

The characters of Halsin and Ketheric Thorm were originally interconnected

Unfortunately, Halsin is among the best elections for the Baldur's favorite Baldur. Its biggest peak is that you can sleep with him when he is in the form of a bear. Not much from that. And while he is helpful when leaving the curse from shadow cursed countries, there is nothing else on the figure.

However, it seems that Larian's original plans for Halsin would make him a little more interesting. As Merrinl's user stressed on Tumblra (thanks, Videogree), the original plan seems to be killed by Halsin Isobel, which led to Thorm to release the curse on the ground. This was discovered through discarded diaries that were still present in the source code of the game.

Part of the record is:

I can't remember what happened to any clarity. We negotiated. She with […] I led the druids. […] Words grew warmed […] threw the first blow. It was chaos.

[…] She stared at me, buried the blade of my glaive in her stomach and shocked in her eyes. I can't believe she wanted to hurt me. It was a clean instinct – the heat of the fight.

Larian, however, decided against it for any reason, although it would be a little more interesting to Halesin's character. It is really amazing that even after two years we still find new content in the game and also new information about it.
