Nintendo has never been a company that takes care of tradition in particular. The Zelda timeline is and will always be a complete clutter, as well as the Congo family tree. Even Donkey Kong Bananza seems to create its own timeline, with the child Pauline and Diddy Kong existed at the same time.

We have carefully calculated the world's most popular Mario Kart character and you are all as boring as each other
There are maybe two surprises in the top ten …
But Mario Kart's world moves things to a completely new level. Although it is usually a game of races, attention to details across its open world is unlike everything that is seen in the previous titles MK. In fact, it creates a brand new capitalist version of Hellscape The Mushroom Kingdom, which I cannot help fall in love with.
Mario Kart World is a capitalist dream
Before we start and before one of you comments: “In fact, it's not a mushroom, Mr. Nintendo said it,” That's not entirely true. In an interview with The Verge, Kosuke Yabuki, producer Yabuki, said, “I would say this world was designed for the Mario Kart world.” While many have decided to believe that this means that this place is not a mushroom kingdom, I will decide to believe that it is just an alternative version.
The world Mario Kart is doing some fascinating things with the mushroom kingdom and its inhabitants, many of which do not belong to, unless you look carefully, and almost certainly not as deep as I am going to make, but you come to a ride with me – Mario Kart World will change the mushroom kingdom into a capitalist paradise.
Mario loves capitalism.
When you first launch the world of Mario Kart World, you are immediately introduced by a nightmare -controlled money that the kingdom's muggers happened. Mario sets out around the bus owned by Rosalina and on his way to the first course he passes numerous billboards and advertising.
When he arrives, he welcomed dozens of inscriptions “Luigi tires”, “Bob-omb plugs” and his own, “Mario Motors”. Everything is interrupted by dinner, a giant burger restaurant and the cab of tickets, all in a few meters apart. And this is just a short introduction to the desperate state in which this kingdom is.
No matter how small or insignificant character was in the past Mario, they come to the forefront in the world, with money as the main motivator.
Every song and every character try to sell something. Spike has billboards for its rays, Swoop to its interior store and Chargin 'Chuck for its monster trucks. No matter how small or insignificant character was in the past Mario, they come to the forefront in the world, with money as the main motivator.
Like the real world, you would expect that something like a racetrack would be dotted with ads, so it adds a strange level of realism that is often not seen in Mario Games. The problem is that it does not just stop at the races and will not just stop in ads.
When I went through the world's calm landscape Biome, I couldn't go for a few seconds without reminding myself that the inhabitants of the mushroom of the kingdom simply love their moollah. The grassy views and peaks were decorated with giant billboards and Yoshi, notorious Foodie, opened up
Up to dozens of restaurants in the most beautiful places, often covering their opinions. Even Bowser Castle is not immune to the one, with ads for his motor company plastered everywhere – and that is before you achieve some of the main areas of the game.
Crown City is an obvious example of the world's economic system. Here is Rosal's boss who owns a luxury car company and a passionate tour provider, while the charming restaurants and shops Boujee can be found throughout the city. However, if you look closer, things run even deeper.
To the southeast of the world, Peach owns the entire recreation center. KOOPA TROOPA has a beach resort that looks like an ideal place for partygoers to visit and spend their hard -earned money. Boo own cinema, oil the entire factory, the Donkey Kong ski resort, the shy Guy Bazaar is dotted with small businesses and toadette's own piece of land, a cup with a high sky, devoted to its ice cream business. These people love money.
Competition is not just for the racecourse in the kingdom of mushrooms
While the three wheels around each track may seem like Mario Kart's largest race, it may not be from within. Incredible stickers of the game suggest that more residents compete with similar businesses.
In my number, there are at least six engine retailers, five fuel companies, four construction companies, three engines suppliers, three transport couriers, three clothing and jewelry shops, two tour providers and two interior shops. It's a competitive world.
It is also clear that the inhabitants of the mushroom of the kingdom are either massive entrepreneurs or are forced to work more jobs. Wario does not have at least six companies on the go, with its engines, premium scrap, ground transport, shipyard, garlic engine oil and stadium companies that create revenues. Koopa also has at least three: the operation of the festival, to own a hotel and a construction company and Rosalina has at least two. Almost every person, no matter who they are, own more businesses.
What results in? Poverty … And we can see about it in the world.
Crown City, which is probably the center of commercialism of the game, is dotted with Glitzy with high -rise buildings, restaurants and many places for rich shopping, but there are also signs of poverty.
Some of the features of the game are closed shops, windows, graffiti and litter, which looks like it wasn't cleaned for a while. It is a sharp reminder that while some prosper, others are fighting, even in the fictitious Mario Kart world.
The Mario Kart World world is actually fantastic
Many reviews quickly slammed open world World Mario Kart and their concerns are valid. It may feel empty and ride from point A to point B can feel like a bit of a chore, but if you stop appreciating things, you will see that the world really shines.
The effort of Nintendo to feel the living kingdom of mushrooms (or anything) and its inhabitants as real working people add a level of magic that I don't think other society could handle. The creativity that went to his label deserves a ton of awards. If Switch 2 already allows Nintendo to take your imagination to these heights, I can't wait to see what the future games will hold.
