The PS3 was the first console to offer players digital versions of classic games. Players could download platformers like Crash Bandicoot or as an RPG Final Fantasy VII. These versions were not enhanced in any way, but could be played on PS3, PSP or possibly PS Vita.
With the PS5, Sony recently started an initiative to emulate PS1 games with enhanced features as pseudo remasters. They can save whenever they want or rewind time. It's a great feature as part of the PS Plus catalog in the classics section. Some may not even know that these emulated games exist on the PS5, so here are some of the best PS1 games to date.
6 Monkey Run
The monkeys are on the loose
Monkey Run was recently celebrated in Astro Bot because there is a Hero stage based on the franchise. Ape Escape began as a late debut on the PS1 in 1999. It featured Spectre, an ape who gained super intelligence after donning a prototype helmet. He leads an escape in the facility to free the other monkeys, which leads them all to cause chaos over time.
Players must play as Spike, a young hero with hair as wild as Cloud's Final Fantasy VII. Each level was short and full of monkeys that needed to be recaptured. They could catch them with a net, stun them with a baton, and other gadgets also helped them. Although it may be difficult to get used to the controls now, Monkey Run is still a fun action platformer and there are more items to play on PS5 after this one.

A casual sports game that stripped away the complexity

Twisted Metal it's having a big resurgence right now, even though there hasn't been a game in over a decade. The popularity of the TV adaptation may prompt Sony to reopen that wallet and start a new game. While fans wait for the new game, they can enjoy the first two posts on PS5.
