Wuchang: Fallen Feathers got a great start with an impressive concomitant peak of more than 130,000 players on the first day. With “tremendously negative” reviews on Steam, however, it is hardly surprising that Leenzee's debut soul is already bleeding players.
In just five days its 24 -hour number of players dropped by 41 percent to 78,000. It is true that this number is nothing to mock because Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is still comfortable in the best 20 Steam games. However, the loss of over 50,000 players in less than a week is hardly a promising sign. For comparison, the black Wukong myth took less than a month to achieve a similar decline in 43 percent.
On the other hand, the reviews have already increased to “mixed”.
The wrong oral word also does not affect the number of players because Wuchang: Fallen Feathers also quickly lost its place in steam charts. While it debuted as the best -selling number on the second on the platform, it is now in 80. Place and placed it for other recent editions such as Killing Floor 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Schedule 1, Split Fiction and Dune: Awakening.
What does a drop of players tell us
Of course, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a single player game, so the parallel number of players on top does not matter the same as for multiplayer and live service games. But it is often a good breakup for how something is accepted, as well as the review of the review.
In the case of Wuchang, the sharp decline in players is likely to show how frustrating the PC port problems are. Steam's success statistics clearly show that people do not postpone the game because they have defeated it in the first week. So far very few people have reached one of the end-0.9-4 percent per PC, compared to 3.2-5.8 percent per PlayStation.
There is a tiny mismatch, which is probably due to problems with the performance of the game. Wuchang is dotted with stuttering, tears on the screen and long loading times, which is barely ideal for the soul where everything is accuracy and timing. So, rather than a typical decline, it seems that players remain faithful to their word. Several reviews of Steam came from people who had already returned the game while others have committed to stop playing until the problems were solved.
With Leenzee introducing performance and hotfixes and a score of reviews constantly climbing, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers could get back some of his lost players. However, when it stands, the game decreases quickly with every next day and cannot climb the weekend at the weekend.
