Nintendo's big partner Direct took place at the beginning of this week, during which we saw several new game announcements from third -party studies along with a handful of ports. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Persona 3 Reload and the newly announced Octopath Traveler 0 was welcomed, but the excitement was destroyed very quickly after the show.
This is because many titles shown during the show were later confirmed as card keys, which is a controversial aspect of Switch 2 since its launch. Persona 3 Reload and Octopath Traveler 0, in particular, attracted a lot of anger, specifically because these are big games for single players with gigantic publishers in Sega and Square Ex behind them.
Nintendo Switch 2 is called “undesirable” thanks to all recently exposed titles of game keys
Discard these titles into the ever -growing pile of third -party games using game keys and it is becoming increasingly difficult to justify the purchase of third -party games in the system at all. This causes the Switch 2 opinion to drop relatively quickly among many players, one of whom is Twitter user, saying that the console feels “undesirable” due to the lack of proper support of third -party publishers.
In an Orlalology half -grade post, it says most games using the SWITCH 2 game cards have a physical version on the PS5, or it could simply run better on the PC, which is much better to buy them. In fact, there is no reason to buy third -party games in the system, especially with the popularity of Steam Deck, and that its opinion on the system made a “complete 180” compared to the first switch.
It is understandable criticism and it is especially true when you have companies like Sega, which charge the full price for re -loading persona 3, although it is two years and will be worse at the switch 2.
