RPG -based RPGs do not control the RPG genre, as it used to be, but there are still a lot of new worthy of your attention. 2025 has already seen an excellent RPG tensile with similar Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, but what about the rest of the year?
We looked at the remaining calendar of the year and rounded up up for the established RPG that caught our attention. From triple-a independence, these are RPGs based on turn that pay attention to the second half of 2025.
Artis an impact

You don't need a triple-a budget to create a great RPG that Artis the impact looks as if it can do it. This pixel RPG was made in RPG manufacturers only by one person and according to the appearance it is certainly a success.
It has hand -drawn pixel graphics that looks beautiful, watching a character known as Akane when they explore the world set in the future, inhabited by people and AI. The game is described as a “classic” turn -based struggle, inspired by Retro RPG.

Looking for something a little different from your RPG based on turn? Wander stars could be on your alley. Along with the inspiration from the battle systems based on tournaments, Wander Stars also draws on Deckbuilders and Anime to create turn -based battles that turn into real glasses.
As a combat artist named Ringo and villain Wolf, who uses the “words” in the battle to get better opponents, with different types of actions, modifier and elementary words you have. If you like anime, it will certainly be on your street.
Final Fantasy Tactics – The ILOIC Chronicles

The beloved strategic game Square Enix, Final Fantasy Tactics, returns with remake known as Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ialice Chronicles. Whether you are familiar with the original or new in the game, it is worth immersion if you are a RPG fans.
As you can guess from the game name, the battle system includes more strategy than your average tensile RPG, so it is perfect if you are looking for a battle system with a greater depth. The remake is also fully acting, unlike the original, which will undoubtedly cause the story to hit even harder.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger

The new entry into a series of stories Digimon, Digimon Story Time Stranger allows you to travel between the human world and the digital world where you can collect and connect with Digimon on your way.
As part of the story, you and your digimon are involved in the battle based on TAR. The game has more than 450 Digimon that you can use in your team, so there will be no doubt a lot of space for strategy and adaptation, which will be as deep as you want. If you like turn -out games, but they didn't try Digimona, it could be the time for it.
Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D remake

Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake breathed a new life into one of the earliest games of the series and now we will return to the place where it all started with the HD-2D Dragon Quest 1 and 2.
Dragon Quest is largely king of turn -based RPG, so you know these games will also be phenomenal. If you ended up in a Remake 3 check, you could start with 1 and 2 and then return to 3 and play these 2D RPGs in a row.
Octopath Traveler 0

If you jumped to Mobile Octopath Traveler, Octopath Traveler: Champions of Continent, you can experience it later this year with Octopath Traveler 0, without any elements of Gacha (fortunately).
Unlike the first two Octopath Traveler games, you can design the look of your character with the character creator. You will divide your time to rebuild your hometown, hire allies and fight in battles based on such a foundation. There are more than 30 party members from which you can choose, so you can customize your team of eight people to your liking.
Cairn: Mathair's curse

From the style of his work with pixels and the battle screen, Cairn: Mathair's Curse seems to draw on a severe inspiration from the mother series, which can be just a good thing. However, what distinguishes from the mother and other turn -based RPGS is that in its narrative and environment he uses Celtic mythology and Scottish culture.

You will be able to customize your character's background, and your choices affect how you rule your empire, such as determining what types of projects you can take over. If you like deep strategic systems set in space, it is RPG based on turn.
Abyss Fantasia

Abyss Fantasia looks like it will be charming fantasy RPG, maybe with similar vibrations as anime friend: Beyond Journey's End. It also has hand -drawn graphics that always causes the game to look much more attractive.
You play as a “missing” girl named Eugala, who leaves the adventure to the abyss – a huge abyss on the continent where those who are not strong enough lose common sense. The path leads you to fulfill the diverse cast of the characters and find treasures that can be transformed into a card. These cards are what you use in tensile battles and may change depending on the circumstances you use them. To be an interesting concept and we will have to see what cards are used in battles.
To the grave: Wildlands of Faenora

Adorable mascot Red Panda, beautiful Pixel art and inspiration from the tactics of Final Fantasy? I'm already sold. To the grave: The Wildlands of Faenora begins that your character is handed over by an amulet that allows them to resist death and learn about the mysterious gryphon, and then you are as you want to explore the wilderness.
Together with a tension strategy, the grave: Wildlands of Faenora also employs roguelet elements, allowing you to try to get to Wildslands again and again.
