Elden Ring Nightreign is a gift that just puts on. It is not a typical name of a live service, but Fromsoftware has maintained the game by released free updates full of harder bosses, better quality of life and the highly required DUOS mode. It is a better service than some highly monetized dedicated live service services and the studio seems to be a step further.
Elden Ring Nightreign DataMine reveals the upcoming endless evaluated mode
For the first time reported by PC Gamer, a group of dataminers immersed in the game files to see if something new was added after the latest Elden Ring Nightreign update. It turned out that it was absolutely, except that this new information was not just about future struggles or improvements on the way – seemingly revealed plans for the evaluated regime coming in the future.
According to Datamine, which was shared in the above Reddit thread, this mode is called deep at night. It seems to be an almost endless regime in which players accept randomized bosses, and the challenge increases deeper into the night you get.
Not only that, but it seems that this mode works using an impact and pairing you with other players who have the same “depth”. Every successful run will bring you closer to the next level of depth, a total of five and you will not be able to drop. For example, once you reach the level 2, you will no longer be able to drop back to 1 depth.
Apparently there will also be some new toys with which you can play, including weapons and relics. However, these new deep night weapons and relics will have positive and negative effects to them, so it sounds like you should also take into account some debuffs. All of this sounds quite interesting and having the evaluated system in the game like Elden Ring Nightreign would significantly increase its repeatability.
Unfortunately, we have no idea when this deep night mode will fall, and I suspect that the software will first want to introduce all its upgraded bosses' struggles. Then again it is exactly the kind of announcement that would fit perfectly on the show, such as Gamescom OpenLing Night Live, which takes place on August 19, so the fingers crossed then get some official information.
