Noah Hawley is the only person you can believe to make a decent show Far Cry

This last weekend it seemed that Ubisoft would accidentally reveal that Far Cry's TV show is on the way with some of the strong creative names behind him. They pulled too quickly to the announcement because it probably shouldn't have been intended. Thank God for Reddit.

According to Ubisoft's edition, a series of anthologies – new places, characters and graphs every season – from Duo Rob Mac producer (always sunny in Philadelphia, Mythic Quest, Welcome to Wrexham) and Noah Hawley (Alien: Earth, Legion, Fargo). Hawley will produce and show, Mac will produce and play. Since both men have existing FX production agreements, it is likely that the show will find its home.

In the announcement since the Dellet, Ubisoft Film & Television Head of Content Margaret Boykin said that the show “does not avoid the darkest and most disinterested parts of humanity”.

Sure, you may be thinking about the main games in terms of what the upcoming show adapts, specifically those that will take you to exotic locations to perform missions, eliminate bad guys and save the day along the way. But something has changed with Far Cry 5.

Far Cry 5 should start a show

For the first time in the history of Franší Far Cry 5, he brought the event to today's United States. Instead of trying to overthrow the despot in another nation, save your friends from treacherous pirates, otherwise it is known that any of the other tasks Far Cry is known, the fifth game puts you in the center of a very American story.

In the small region in Montana, Joseph Seed, preacher and religious fanatic, leads a cult that terrorizes its region and waits for the end of the world. As a player's character, a junior representative who is trying to reduce the seed, there are several different ends. One of them is the perfect catalyst for at least one season of the series.

The dawn of the new dawn

If you decide at the end of Far Cry 5 seeds with seeds, the end of the world will actually happen. While the battle rages, radio broadcasting traces us to get out of control and the nuclear war. After Joseph is defeated, we see nuclear detonation in the distance. This will end his fear and instead leads to the spin-off title Far Cry: New Dawn.

The new dawn is, I would say, the most underestimated Far Cry game. It is quite crazy, it is super dystopic and after the nuclear apocalypse is set in the Hope County edge. He continues the story of Joseph Seed and attempts to overthrow him. Except for his “prophecy”, his “prophecy” has come true.

Not to mention the talk is no longer a bit crazy. The first game antagonist was a mad scientist.

Like other spin-offs in Far Cry, New Dawn looks a bit of a peculiarity at first glance. It is soaked in neon colors and pink flowers, which are massive pop saturated colors between the world of dead plants and trees. There are a lot of weapons and cars that make sense in the world where you eventually have to clean up and the prey bunch. But then there is a rainbow unicorn Flamethrower, the most colorful and most ridiculous weapon ever seen by the series.

It also contains some of the best villains franchise, except for seed. The amazingly manic twins Mickey and Lou, who are troubled by the player's character for most of the new dawn, are excellent villains that I would like to see how they will revive on the small screen.

I can't imagine that the Anthology Far Cry series will start with New Dawn, but is there a better one-two punch of television periods than to adapt to Far Cry 5 and New Dawn Back-to-Back? It would also be a choice that many of them would expect.

The most boring thing to do would be to dig Far Cry TV on the island somewhere with the hero of the trekking through the tropical jungle. Sure, it can be what many of us identify when it comes to Far Cry, but in the last few decades we have seen a lot of shows about bad things in tropical locations. I'm fine and let the particular tropics take a long holiday.

A potentially even worse idea would be to adapt to Far Cry 6 directly from the gate, just cast Giancarlo Esposita as a villain he also played in the game. It is among the worst titles of Far Cry ever made, and although it does not mean it is a bad game, we know that the series can do much better.

Instead, spend the season far away by building the world and show us Hope County. We would also build a flock of seeds. When the game was released in 2018, it was recorded for its parallels with religious fanaticism and the Alt-right political movement. The revision of this discussion almost ten years later, in the State, the United States would now find themselves fascinating.

And while this story unfolds, Easter eggs and other traces could be used to indicate what is happening in the rest of the show world. After you get to New Dawn, the devastation of the world, as we know, it will hit much harder.

Of course, some changes will be required. It is likely that if we want more seasons of a show that are not automatically based in the past, the whole world should not be decimated with nuclear bombs. However, by missing how to revive Hope County, Joseph Seed once and for all, if properly done, could be the hell of the television season.

Let's turn a show

And why stop at New Dawn? There are a lot of Far Cry Spin-off that would make great and strange television shows. Imagine Far Cry: Primal in Live-Action. I do not know who to occupy as Takkar, but when I saw him a bold first world, take or fight the animals he encounters, sounds great. What's more, it sounds like something new and another. There are not many (no) TV shows in the stone times.

And if it is first, why not a blood dragon? Do you remember Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon? The independent expansion package Far Cry 3 from 2013 was inspired by action films and stars 80. He will literally build you against a huge dragon. Stand-ins for Stallone and Schwarzenegger are fighting a dragon-what?

Eventually they could do almost any far into the TV show and I will do it. However, it is expected that it will be an antological series, the hope of New Dawn will always be on my mind. Don't let me down, team.
