Hollow Knight: Silksong is real. At this point it is quite unbelievable, but thanks to the new trailer for the release date from the Cherry developer team today we will all play Hollow Knight: Silksong in just two weeks.
After unveiling the trailer, an interview with the Cherry team from Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, in which the studio explained why the game took so long, why it did not communicate with fans and spoke of the general development timeline of the game. In this interview, Team Cherry also set his plans for Hollow Knight: Silksong outside his launch next month.
Hollow Knight: Silksong gets years of support after launch
At the end of the interview, the co -founders of Cherry Ari Gibson and William Pellen largely confirm that Hollow Knight: Silksong will get a lot of content after starting and that it will be as exciting as the game itself.
“The most interesting thing is now what we can add to it,” Gibson says. “We got a plan. It is true that some of the plans for these things are also a bit ambitious, but hopefully we can achieve them.”
According to his sounds, this content will be quite far from starting. This is not very surprising, given that Team Cherry is a very small studio, and the team is probably all hands on board, and make sure the real basic game is out of the door first. It is still very reassuring to know that DLC comes, although it has been largely guaranteed what it gets so much support after starting with the first hollow knight.
At least waiting for Silksong DLC will give games more passionate fans of the renewed purpose in life, and we can still expect to appear in the cottage with the video game shows the name Silkshong, whenever we expect some DLC to drop. Soon it does not go anywhere, so while waiting for silk can end, waiting for Silksong DLC has just begun.
