Phasmophobia is getting a new Nell's Diner map on November 11th. The upcoming level will mean Phasmophobia14. map.
Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games originally revealed Nell's Diner in early August 2025. The map was designed in the style of a long-abandoned retro diner and was described as smaller. At the time, the UK studio said it was targeting a late 2025 launch, without committing to a more precise timeframe.
Phasmophobia's Nell's Diner gets a release date and a new trailer
Two and a half months later, Kinetic has now replaced that vague launch window with a concrete release date – November 11th, revealed via a new trailer. As it was with all the previous ones Phasmophobia content will drop, Nell's Diner will be a completely free addition to the game. It is supposed to come in the form of an update that will be released on the same day on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
In terms of size, Nell's Diner is comparable to smaller ones Phasmophobia maps such as 10 Ridgeview Court, 6 Tanglewood Drive and 42 Edgefield Road. This should make it as accessible as possible, as level size is proportional to the average length of any given ghost hunt. The prevailing opinion among fans is that while larger maps like Prison and Asylum are just as atmospheric as their smaller counterparts, the extra search radius often makes them more annoying than scary as players scramble for clues and often run out of sanity before their investigation really gets going.
Nell's Diner should have no such problems as it consists of several compact sub-locations, including a dining room, storeroom, and kitchen. Elaborating on the decision to design such a level, Kinetic Games director Daniel Knight revealed that Phasmophobia the team had long considered the haunted restaurant an ideal themed location for the game. “In addition to this year's farmhouse redesign, Nell's is an example of how we want all maps to be Phasmophobia feel forward,” the lead developer said in a prepared statement. “It's unique and has been carefully designed to tell our players more of a story — beyond the immediate ghost they're hunting.”

Nell's Diner is one of the last items left PhasmophobiaThe 2025 content plan that hasn't happened yet. After the November 11th release, Kinetic is expected to focus on completing the game's annual holiday event. Based on the studio's announcement cadence, the 2026 schedule may be revealed around Christmas, but it's unlikely to be fully revealed until late January or early February. Although Phasmophobia still does not have a firm release date for 1.0, it is expected to leave Early Access in the near future, possibly before its sixth anniversary in September 2026. Kinetic previously suggested that the game will continue to receive content updates after leaving Early Access, although their frequency and scope may decrease.
