Nintendo is giving some fans a chance to try out the upcoming Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment coming soon, with demos rolling out at select retailers. With the launch of the latest The Legend of Zelda spinoff in less than a week, Nintendo has given fans a lot to look forward to Breath of the Wild prequel. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment will offer players more than ten different playable characters to choose from, most recently revealing a Korok playable character named Calamo and a “Mysterious Construct”. Now, some fans will be able to try the game a little earlier.
Third Hyrule Warriors spinoff plays an important role in the overarching story of Breath of the Wildgames from the era. The story of the game follows Zelda after being transported to the distant past during events Tears of the Kingdomwith fans getting a full look at the “Imprisonment War” mentioned in the stories of both games. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment will also introduce Zonai equipment into the standard Warriors-formulaic combat that uses a lot of the equipment included in the game Tears of the Kingdom. The post reveals that select Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart locations will be hosting demos Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment before the game's release. The post doesn't provide any details on what characters or stages will be playable, though characters like Zelda, Rauru, and potentially sages will likely be available.
