My Hero Academia has become an unforgettable anime series over the years, loved by millions of people around the world. My Hero Academia's the source material which is its manga ended last year and the anime is following suit now in 2025 by adapting whatever is left My Hero Academia's Final season. Once My Hero Academia Season 8 is donefans will find themselves in a difficult situation with very little content to look forward to. While there Vigilantes anime season 2 we have a lot to look forward to, luckily it's not the only project confirmed in the works.
As many fans may have heard, Netflix is working on a live-action MHA movie. This movie isn't coming out anytime soon, but they're in the scripting stage and some fans are definitely excited for what's to come, despite the live-action's bad reputation.

My Hero Academia Season 8 It just started airing recently, and it's easy to say that fans have been very impressed with everything Studio Bones has brought, from the incredible art to the smooth animation. However, the 8th season of MHA is very short and it is already almost in the middle. Fans are definitely worried about the future of the franchise, which doesn't seem to have much in store aside from the Vigilantes spin-off.
Recently though Netflix made a hopeful statement about the forgotten MHA projectand that's it MHA live action movie. This film was announced seven years ago and now there is finally more work on this project. It has even been confirmed that a film script is in the works.

This is definitely great news for fans and could be big a full-fledged live adaptation of MHA in the future, similar to what is happening with One Piece right now.

Hate it or love it, a live-action MHA may be one of the few projects fans of the series can look forward to in the coming years. Action anime series have a bad reputationbut Netflix has shown that it doesn't have to be all bad with the recent live action One Piece which, while not perfect, isn't all bad.

either way with the film project My Hero Academia since it was announced seven years ago, fans are hoping that it will be released soon, but the truth is that it will probably take some time. The project is still in the very early stages. The script is being written right now and the actors haven't even been cast yet.
This could take at least two years or possibly more, if there are no production delays and issues. Fans should definitely not expect much from the project until 2027to say the least.
