How to find Shroomberries in PEAK
Shroomberries are a new item that can be easily found in Roots biome in TOP. This map is a guaranteed occurrence until November 17, 2025. They are easily identified by their distinct colors and sometimes appear in clusters, allowing you to collect two or three different ones in one place.
Shroomberries grow on the ground and on the slopes of the biome's massive mushroom cliffs. They are easily recognized by their bright, vibrant colors. Eating Shroomberry restores hunger and gives some stamina. Unfortunately, it also adds a small amount spore damage. Therefore, you should use Shroomberries with caution if you are already infected.
Types of Shroomberries
There are five different Shroomberries that you can find in the Roots biome. Each Shroomberry has a unique pattern to help you tell them apart.
-
Red Shroomberry
-
Green Shroomberry
-
Blue Shroomberry
-
Purple Shroomberry
-
Yellow Shroomberry
Red and yellow Shroomberries mostly have positive effects, while green and blue tend to be harmful. Purple can swing either way, depending on the map. Effects include things like faster climbing, low gravity, or even temporary invincibility. Just remember that you can just as easily be blinded, numbed, or blown up by a cloud of farts.
Some players have also noticed that their effects change depending on the current map.
How to get an advanced mycology badge
To earn the Advanced Mycology Badge, you must eat all five types of Shroomberry in one run. The main goal is to find them all before you die or run out of stamina. Their spawns are random, so it's mostly about exploring every corner of the Roots biome. Follow tree branches, rock ledges and even grass to see their glow.
Cooking Shroomberries on a stove or campfire helps reduce the negative effects. This makes them a bit safer to eat.
Once you consume each species, the Advanced Mycology Badge is instantly unlocked. You will be rewarded with Antlers.
