Locked rooms like the Dam Control Center in Dam Battlegrounds can potentially contain extremely valuable loot ARC Raidersbut where there is prey, there is danger. Rooms like these don't often get a lot of traffic, but if you happen to run into other players near them, you're very likely to get shot. Fortunately, the locked room in the Control Tower is fairly easy to access and if you have the right key to it ARC Raidersyou can take all the valuables inside for yourself.
Where to get Dam Control Tower key in ARC Raiders
If you want to get into the control room of the dam, you have to do it search the Research & Administration buildingwhich is right next to the Control Tower. The desk drawers on the second floor have a random chance of containing a key to a locked room somewhere, including rooms found on other maps, such as the Confiscation Room in the Blue Gate.
Research & Administration is a high value area, so it's very likely that you'll run into at least a few players there. If you don't want to risk a fight, or if you've spawned somewhere on the northwest side of the Dam Battlegrounds, we recommend searching Ruby Residence, Pale Apartments and Ben Welder's Sunroof POI. We've had decent luck getting keys from these locations, but since there's a player spawnpoint nearby, you probably won't have anything left to loot if you've spawned somewhere else.

Where to use the Dam Control Center key in ARC Raiders
This key is used to open control room at the top of the control tower point of interest. You can get to it by going up the long elevator shaft on the northeast side of the POI map boundary and you can get to it in the following ways:

Approach the Control Tower exit point Red Lakes Balcony. At the base of the tower you will find a door that leads to the control room.

Face to face main entrance to Research & Administrationbut don't go inside. Instead, go right and go down the long corridor to the end. Open the door there to enter the elevator shaft.

If you started from the north or northeast, you can reach the base of the Control Tower walking on the bottom of the lake. Follow the sluice gates until you reach an open sewer grate.
The upper half of the elevator shaft is guarded by a machine gun tower. If you see any lights/lasers glowing above you, take them out first or use a smoke grenade to cover your progress. Otherwise, you will definitely get hurt. Once the tower is gone, use the zipline to reach the top of the shaft.
If you started from the bottom, you will arrive at the dam control center after taking the second zipline up. Use your key to open the room and then take home as much loot as possible. The more secure pockets you have, the better.
Once you've grabbed your loot, you can go back to the Red Lakes Balcony elevator and get out. If you want to avoid other players, north of the Red Lakes elevator is the Raider Hatch.
