After 7 years, Gege Akutami confirms the Sorcerer who stole Goya's throne

Jujutsu Kaisen the sequel series has proven to be absolutely incredible so far and fans have enjoyed every chapter that has come out so far. With lots of new lore about different races and adding to the already established lore of the world, Jujutsu Kaisen module continues to impress fans. Most importantly, Gege Akutami, the author of the series, also revealed a lot of new powerful wizards. While some of them are still in the process of being developed as fighters, such as the next generation, others have already reached their peak.

Now, one such warlock has been confirmed to have taken over the throne of Japan's most powerful, and that is none other than Yuji Itadori. Despite being quite old, Yuji still has a youthful body and carries tremendous power. Above all, he is now officially the most powerful wizard in Japan, taking over from his beloved teacher Gojo, who entrusted him with the rest of the job before he died.

Jujutsu Kaisen module takes place 68 years after the conclusion of the main story, so it's no surprise that fans have been wondering how the wizarding world has changed over the years. Of course, a lot had changed, considering most of the wizards they knew were either dead or out of business. The laws regarding witchcraft have also changed and a new alien race called the Simurians now wants to co-exist with humans on Earth. One thing that gives fans a familiar feel despite being in a different time is the former protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji Itadori.

Recently, Gege Akutami has officially confirmed that Yuji Itadori is still alive in JJK. Furthermore, Gege also confirmed that Yuji is still quite young and that his body has aged differently than other wizards. But most importantly, Gege Akutami revealed to fans that Yuji Itadori is now the strongest in Japan. This was confirmed directly by an organization of wizards who wanted to create a deterrent against the Simurians who had Daburu on their side. To match Dabur, nothing less than the absolute strongest is needed on the wizard side, and everyone recognizes that it is Yuji Itadori. This officially confirms it Yuji Itadori took over from Gojo Satoru as the strongest.

Japan is looking for Yuji Itadori

Although Yuji is known as the strongest wizard in Japanthere is another issue that needs to be addressed and that is its localization. For some reason, Yuji Itadori is currently missing and by the looks of it, no one has seen him in years. at some point Yuji left the wizard organization and decided to live alone. He has not been seen since. Why Yuji left the warlock and what his goal is at this point remains to be seen. Fortunately, Japan have already started looking for Yuji Itadori as they cannot waste a second.

Yuji Itadori may have surpassed Gojo and Sukuna

When it comes down to it The Powers of Yuji Itadorifans know that he is currently the strongest, but at the same time it also needs to be said that he could surpass both Gojo and Sukuna. This is quite possible since he has access to two different cursed techniques in Shrine and Blood Manipulation.
