One Arc Raider the player demonstrates how they managed to survive for 15 minutes after being shot down, essentially crawling around the map and mining with their loot intact. Arc Raider was a huge success for Embark Studios, which probably isn't too surprising given how popular tech tests have become over the summer months.
Nevertheless, it is part of a unique experience Arc Raider it's how dynamic its world can be as players go up against each other and enemy AI. While Arc Raider continues to break records, its player base continues to invent new ways to experience the game and ensure that each run above is unique and memorable. However, sometimes players may need a little more than just luck to help get all the loot they've acquired during a run, such as this user who was able to survive for over 15 minutes in a downed state.
Arc Raiders Discover the power of the MK3 Augment
In a new post on Arc Raider subreddit, a user named bior12 posted a time-lapse video of the character crawling for extraction. As players discovered long ago, Arc Raider allows downed players to extract, giving them one last chance to escape with their loot. What made it different though is that the character was able to survive for more than 15 minutes, basically crawling around the buried city map to the mining site in the subway. Not getting picked off by an enemy ARC or another player who sees an easy win is another feat.
The video drew a lot of surprised reactions, but a key part of it was the equipped Looting MK3 Augment, which can be crafted at Level 3 Gear Bench in Arc Raider. When equipped, allows players to regenerate up to 75% of their maximum health downed while standing. The clip highlights this at several points as the player uses cover or bushes to hide while regenerating downed health to continue traversing. Some in the comments have provided additional information that suggests there are even more powerful versions in the game, such as the Tactical MK3, which also provides the ability to passively charge the shield on the fly.
In addition to specific builds, players have also experimented with different ARC enemies that populate the maps. During the Harvester Event, players have the chance to face off against a gigantic machine known as The Queen, which is set to be a very challenging but rewarding fight. shocking Arc Raider players have found an easy way to deal with the queen, which probably indicates that a patch could come sooner or later, since it doesn't seem like the intended game.
