Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 may have the biggest Zombies offering to date and will take players straight into the Dark Aether with Ashes of the Damned. Ashes of the Damned is by far the biggest zombie map to date, complete with terrifying enemies to face such as the zombified bear Zursa, along with a long quest for an Easter Egg that is sure to test players' skills.
When players first dive into Ashes of the Damned, the biggest critical step to take right away is to jump in and fire up the Pack-a-Punch map engine. However, this is a bit different from what players are used to as it is an upgrade for Wonder Vehicle: Ol' Tessie on the map. Here's how to activate Ashes of the Damned Pack-a-Punch in Black Ops 7 Zombies.
How to activate Ashes of the Damned Pack-a-Punch in Black Ops 7 Zombies
In order to get to the Pack-a-Punch in Ashes of the Damned, players must first do so go through Ol' Tessie's power up process and then go through two main locations to restore strength: Vandorn Farm and Ashwood. Those playing in both standard and routed mode will be taken through this process, but for reference, we'll go through these steps below:
Step #1: Explore the server room to find TEDD's head
Start by earning 1,250 Essence and opening of the server room in the southeast corner of Janus Towers Plaza. Once inside, smash the grate on the floor and collect TEDD's head. After removing the head, head over to Ol' Tessie just in front of the server room. Interact with Ol' Tessie to install the TEDD head on the vehicle, enabling it to drive.
Step #2: Drive to Vandorn Farm and restore power
Other, jump into Ol' Tessie and take her to Vandorn Farm by following the path after breaking through the wooden barricade in the starting area. Once at Vandorn Farm, on the west side of the BZ, head to the Power Pump and clear the infestation by destroying all cysts within 30 seconds. If you fail this move, you will have to wait until the next round and try again.
After all the cysts have been destroyed, head into the barn and flip the switch upstairs restore power to Vandorn Farm.
Step #3: Go to Ashwood and restore your power
Now that you've restored power to Vandorn Farm, head to Ashwood and repeat the same steps. Go to Ashwood using the path leading from Vandorn Farm. once there head left after entering Ashwood and go up the riserand open the first locked door for 1000 Essence, then the other door just behind her for 1,750 Essence.
From there, players get to the bridge where they need to go remove the infestation from another Power Pump by destroying the nearby Cysts within 30 seconds. As before, if you fail this move, you will have to try again on the next round. After completion flip the switch located just behind the power pump restore power.
Step #4: Take Ol' Tessie to the garage and install the Pack-a-Punch Machine
Now that power has been restored, a garage will open just outside the main entrance to Ashwood. Go back down the riser you used to reach Ashwood Bridge and take Ol' Tessie to the garage. Inside, you'll find a vehicle upgrade station that allows you to install the Pack-a-Punch Machine on Ol' Tessie by interacting with it. This will also be needed for any future Ol' Tessie upgrades you find.
This turns Ol'Tessie's exhaust into a Pack-a-Punch Machine so players can take it with them wherever they go. When you want to upgrade your weapons, simply head to the back of Ol' Tessie.
