How World of Warcraft's New Allied Race Leaves Others in the Dust
Haranir has many customization options. They have a total of 29 (28 for character type 1) different options available, from staples like hairstyles and face shapes to unique options including fur patterns, spikes, and even eyelashes. Additionally, their base capabilities run deeper than most other races; their 18 amazing hairstyles include lots of fantastic black styles and highlights for their eyes and their eyes reflect the light in a mesmerizing way.
Most other playable races simply cannot match this breadth of customization. While Drachthyr of WoW: Dragonflight in fact the dwarf Haranir, with 42 different categories that can be traversed by their draconic form alone, every other race has far less. Humans and Orcs can make up the difference with just the number of options in each category, but most have less than half of what Haranir gets. Some races, including core options like Gnomes and Undead, allied races like Dark Iron Dwarves and Vulpera, and even Blood Elves who are front and center Midnightdon't even break into double digits.

It's getting worse. Druids are central to the Haranir fantasy, and like the other races have unique shapeshifting forms, including a wolverine-like bear form, a bat-like flying form, and an axolotl aquatic form. However, all of their transformations can also be customized, with different fur and feather colors, plus ear, nose, and gill shapes depending on the form. While players can customize a generic Moonkin form for their Balance Druids from World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Patch 10.2, no other race-specific shapeshifters have this level of detail.
Haranir Druid forms also have unique animations and dance emotes.
While these options are undoubtedly amazing, they serve to highlight the growing gulf between the playable races. Like the Dracthyr before them, the Haranir have received a flood of attention from the development team, abandoning other races World of Warcraft neglected.
It's time for a model and customization overhaul in World of Warcraft
Finally, highlighting Haranir World of WarcraftDesperate need for a new model and customization improvements. Save the Worgens and Goblins that were updated in Battle for Azeroth upon arrival inside The floodlatest model update v World of Warcraft was during Warlords of Draenor in 2014. In the meantime, there was a major adaptation adjustment in the WoW: Shadowlands it's from 2020. In comparison, the brand new models and amount of customization options for the Haranir and Dracthyr put most of the earlier races to shame.
theoretical World of Warcraft could be preparing such a review as a feature for or after World of Warcraft: The Last Titanand it just wants to finish each race before launching them, but there's no evidence that such an overhaul is in the works. regardless of World of Warcraft it can't keep turning all of its attention to the newest playable races and letting its old classics wither, or risk the community's ire reaching a boiling point.
