Battlefield 6 players think the portable mortar is bad
In a recent post on Reddit, SHARPxSHOOTER claimed that they had just recently unlocked a portable mortar that is only usable Battlefield 6Class of support. Unfortunately, they weren't too impressed, declaring the gadget to be “completely useless”. SHARPxSHOOTER shared several complaints, the first being that the portable mortar rounds spent too long in the air before hitting the target. They also complained that the damage from the high-explosive shells was “virtually non-existent” and the spread was too great. They said the gadget was fun to use, but didn't feel like it was actually providing any meaningful support to their team.

In that case, players specifically complained about smoke grenades that can be used to cover the battlefield, potentially allowing allies to advance while remaining out of sight. Unfortunately, the smoke cloud created by the mortar overwhelmed many people who used it, as they felt that the size of the smoke cloud provided no advantage at all. SHARPxSHOOTER also mentioned smoke grenades, saying they dissipated too quickly and didn't create as much cover as a smoke grenade.
Other players quickly agreed and advised players to avoid using the Portable Mortar as better support options are available in it. Battlefield 6. However, some people have said that the portable mortar really shines when it's used by more than one person to support a team. Coordinated strikes from multiple mortars could potentially disrupt the enemy team more effectively than individual mortars. Even with this strategy, many fans seemed to agree that she could use a damage boost.
