Battlefield 6 shows off the new Eastwood map

Battlefield 6 officially showing off the latest map coming to the game in just a few days, players will be jetting off to the Hollywood-inspired Eastwood to battle it out in the city. The latest numbered entry in the beloved shooter franchise had an explosive launch last month, with hundreds of thousands of players flocking to the shooter. Battlefield 6 it peaked at nearly 750,000 players just after its launch, with EA and DICE continuing to release more updates for the game. Now, Battlefield 6 brings an early preview of its next new map.

Battlefield 6 shared a trailer for the new Eastwood map on the game's official social media accounts, which is set to launch in a few days. Eastwood seems to be taking heavy inspiration from Hollywood and Los Angeles as a whole, with players battling it out on city streets, palatial mansions, and sunnier Californian settings. The trailer even shows the players traversing the entire golf course, with Eastwood also coming up with the addition of a new golf cart vehicle. Battlefield 6. Siege of Cairo also takes inspiration from the titular city in Egypt, offering similar melee combat with players able to slip in and out of buildings and use the city environment to their advantage.
