Black Ops 7's Necrofluid Gauntlet might be the coolest OP Wonder weapon ever

Longtime Zombies fans no doubt understand that power creep is nothing new, just one map Call of Duty: Black Ops 7it already looks like Treyarch has set a new ceiling. Few wonder weapons in the mode's long history have combined raw damage, utility, and mechanical value as effectively as the latest Ashes of the Damned toy, and none have ever looked so stylish while doing so. It may have a few quirks, but once Black Ops 7 When players learn how to work around them, it's clear that the Necrofluid Gauntlet is one of the most visibly overpowered wonder weapons in years.

The Necrofluid Gauntlet is an S-class wonder weapon

Ashes of the Damned's Necrofluid Gauntlet is a nasty-looking claw with dark liquid “ammo” that can be transformed into high-speed magnetized spikes. Players can either slice through enemies up close, or impale targets and rip the same spikes back towards the gauntlet, impaling enemies again on the return flight. He plays several high-value roles at once, and that's even before you factor in his scaling potential in high rounds.

What does he actually do? Black Ops 7'with The S-tier Necrofluid Gauntlet is the fact that players can sit at over 350 HP with infinite ammo. Additionally, while it remains unconfirmed, the returning spikes appear to deal infinite damage. This puts the glove on par with iconic Cod Zombie weapons like the Jet Gun, Thunder Gun, and Apothicon Servant, and that's before considering their limited ammo supply. Frankly, it comes with a learning curve.

A wonder weapon with a learning curve

While it may come off as a scam to some, the Necrofluid Gauntlet has some complexities. It's not exactly an occasional weapon, and its optimal use will require some playstyle adjustment, as its best use is really to shoot the floor and thin hordes with spike returns. However, once the muscle memory kicks in, it's hard not to see it as part of the gauntlet's cool factor, especially when the same spikes deal endless damage, re-heals, and somehow more.

Ashes of the Damned's Wonder Weapon Utility is wildly underrated

fight against zombies

Although not explained, the Necrofluid Gauntlet can pull items and power-ups towards the player. This may seem trivial, but being able to lug Max Ammo or Insta-Kill through a train without being exposed is a luxury. Call of Duty's Wonder Weapons ever offered. Combined with overhealing, the gauntlet effectively eliminates many of the risks that usually balance out the strongest Zombies tools.

Still, for all that power, some players will argue that weapons like the Thunder Gun or Apothicon Servant feel more powerful at any given moment. In terms of simplicity, this may be absolutely true; those guns were a point-and-boom solution that anyone could use. The difference here is both in the higher floor and the ceiling, because while the Necrofluid Gauntlet can take some getting used to, its potential for infinite utility and survivability gives it a peak that older weapons just haven't reached.

The Gauntlet's only real weakness: Unlocking

necrofluid gauntlet power

If there is any salvation Black Ops 7The balance of 'Zombies' is that getting the Gauntlet is honestly a bit of a painful process. Its questline features several moving parts, several timed sections, and several steps that are more finicky than almost anything the mode has asked players to do before. The stun grenade hits BO7's Zombies involving Klaus in particular drove players up the wall because determining the correct throw angle is much more frustrating than it should be.

This difficulty isn't inherently a bad thing, though given how powerful this wonder weapon is, it stands to reason that the unlocking process should be proportional to its power. The only real pain is that the last step culminates in a tight circle of fire fight that requires perfect execution with a weapon you may be trying out for the very first time. Enemy aggression and positional pressure are increasing, and failure could lead to the collapse of the entire match.

Eventually, Black Ops 7The Necrofluid Gauntlet is one of the few times the weapon's power is earned. Especially considering that the gauntlet feels like a deliberate attempt to redefine what a late-round wonder weapon can be, even if its power level may need some tweaking. It simply does more than anything else, and that (and the seriously cool factor) makes it a contender for the best zombie weapon of all time. With Ashes of the Damned out, it would be interesting to see more Zombies Wonder Vehicles in the discussion as well.
