Genshin Impact Leaks 3 New Characters For Version 6.3

According to a reliable source in Genshin Impact community, the HoYoverse team is adding three new characters to version 6.3: Columbina, Zibai, and Illuga. Similar to version 5.3 in 2025, Genshin Impact is aiming for a strong start to 2026 by adding three characters to the playable roster. While Version 5.3 was led by Mavuika, Version 6.3 is set to star Columbina – a Moon Maiden of Nod-Krai and former Fatui Harbingers. Columbina is expected to be a 5-star Hydro Catalyst that provides buffs for Lunar Reactions, but version 6.3 may have more in store for players than just debuting as the capstone of Nod-Krai teams.

The second half of version 5.3 hosted the Lantern Rite, and the same plan applies to version 6.3. As such, it is expected to introduce the new character Liyue Genshin Impactand all rumors point to her being a Celadon Mare, an Adeptus with ties to Frost Moon and Istaroth. While earlier speculation placed Celadon Mare as an Anemo character, the truth may be different from what most players initially assumed.

Thanks to recent data mining, Genshin Impact players can gain valuable insight into the upcoming Nod-Krai characters until the release of Columbina.

As revealed by Uncle Kokomi via the 6.3 development build, the upcoming patch will introduce Columbine, Zibai, and Illug as playable characters. The leak was supported by several sources in Genshin Impact community, and while leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, Kokomi's results speak for themselves. Columbina appears to have entered Genshin Impact she will be a dedicated support for Lunar Reactions, with her Hydro damage comparable to Furina in terms of output. On the other hand, Celadon Mare will be introduced as Zibai – a 5-star Geo Sword hypercarry for the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. Given Columbine's role, it's safe to assume that she and Zibai will have synergistic sets.

To complete the trio, Genshin Impact it will also reportedly introduce Illuga, a 4-star Geo Polearm whose skill set will support the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. Illuga was previously mentioned by Varka and Flins during the Archon Quest in version 6.1 and was described as an exemplary member of the Guardians of Light. Given his skill set, it's safe to assume that Illuga will be Zibai's favorite teammate. Assuming Kokomi's information is accurate, 6.3 will likely debut Columbina in the first half, leaving the second half to Zibai and Illuga. As a Genshin Impact character from Nod-Krai, Illuga is unlikely to appear in the 2026 Lantern Rite selector.

Notably, version 6.3 will also introduce a new map expansion Genshin Impactmeaning that players will not be able to pre-nurture these characters. Official information on Columbina, Zibai and Illuga should be released in early January 2026, although public data mining should be available shortly before December 3, 2025.
