Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes has been absolutely sensational at the moment and the series looks set to continue to be incredibly strong in the coming months as battles have been set up and more importantly new powers have been revealed as well. Boruto recently a new arc started and with that the main characters of the story finally started to prepare for what comes next.
Just as Kawaki tried to increase his overall strength by having Amado enhance his body even more, Boruto Uzumaki went to Sumire to have Sasuke's sword upgraded. Finally, Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 28 revealed to fans what the new upgrade is all about, and it's safe to say that Sasuke's new power upon his return will be exponentially greater than before. The blade, which has now turned into a katana, will be welded by Boruto Uzumaki for now, but will eventually switch to Sasuke and fans will see a brand new version of him.
Sumire enhanced Sasuke's beloved sword
As many Boruto fans know, Sasuke Uchiha is currently incapacitated in the Boruto series. This happened around the timeskip where Code attacked Sasuke and Boruto and the former sacrificed his life to save his student. Sasuke succeeded in fighting the Code and saved Boruto, but in the process he became a tree, meaning his chakra was feasted on by Claw Grimes and Shinju Hidari was born.
