ARC Raiders players have a big problem with one weapon in particular

Despite the extreme popularity of the popular extraction shooter, some ARC Raiders players have come together to express their disappointment with the Bettina Assault Rifle, as its combat effectiveness doesn't seem to match its rarity. ARC Raiders debuted on October 30 and is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Embark Studios is constantly making changes ARC Raidersbuffing or nerfing weapons and items to give players the best possible experience. Patches full of bug fixes and changes are the lifeblood of live titles, especially those with a PvP element. IN ARC RaidersIn the recent 1.3.0 patch, the developers focused on a few weapons that seemed to work a little too well. Venator, which became meta, had its rate of fire decreased and its weight increased. Hullcracker was also nerfed as explosive damage was retuned after being too effective against larger ARCs. While some players are bemoaning the recent changes made to the Venator and Hullcracker in patch 1.3.0, others are asking Embark Studios to consider making changes to one weapon they feel isn't performing well enough.

ARC Raiders players have come together to share an interesting suggestion that could make Embark Studios' popular extraction shooter even more addictive.

Arc Raiders players want Bettina's Buff

In a recent Reddit post, moepossum1 criticized the current state of Bettina v ARC RaidersThey argue that an epic rare assault rifle is simply not worth the trouble. According to moepossum1, they entered the match with a fully buffed Bettina stacked with epic mods, only to leave the match underpowered by the weapon's performance. In fact, they stated that they would rather use the Stitcher or Kettle, the game's two common weapons that can be crafted with significantly less resources. Both weapons are also readily available in the game's free cost, making them incredibly easy to obtain.

Moepossum1 also mentioned that Bettina's longevity seems to be an issue as she needed significant repairs after the match. Other players quickly agreed, stating that repairing the weapon after each match proved to be a drain on their resources ARC Raiders. Fellow players have also mentioned that the weapon's damage seemed problematic, as its low rate of fire and heavy ammo suggest that the epic rarity weapon should be able to take down enemies more effectively.

While there's no way to know how Embark Studios will respond to the community's criticism of Bettina, many players are hopeful that the weapon will be improved at some point in the future. It's clear that the developers listened to player feedback, as patch 1.3.0 gave players the option to decorate their rooms with ducks ARC Raiders. While this may seem a little silly, this feature was highly requested by the community before the patch was released. With so much content to enjoy and more on the way, many fans are optimistic about the future ARC Raiders.
