Xbox owners can get a free game that can get more than 3000G worth of simple achievements. For Xbox and PC players who pride themselves on high game scores, this is an easy opportunity to earn some points.
On November 25th, the Xbox received a new game in the form of Card Storm Idlea free-to-play card game that “combines idle progression with active strategy”. The game has been available on Steam since 2023, but this is the first time it has arrived on the Xbox family of consoles and been made available through Microsoft's PC game store. While achievements can be obtained almost on autopilot, the process is a bit convoluted.
I've done a marathon of all 18 Xbox 360 20th Anniversary titles and here's my official ranking
The Xbox 360 is officially 20 years old, and to celebrate I've replayed all the games that were available for it when it launched in 2005.
New free gaming networks up to 3000G in easy reach
In order to get the 3000G achievements, players will need to have access to three different versions Card Storm Idle. By default, the title has 1,000G achievements to earn, but players can collect these points on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC versions of the game, all of which are free. However, this means players will need an Xbox Series X/S and a PC to link all 3,000G. The game only has 10 achievements in total, all of which are easy to unlock and the process can be completed in less than 30 minutes. Players will need to replay the game on all three platforms to get the full 3000. Players should be able to clear achievements in this idle game across three systems in less than a few hours without much effort.
Card Storm Idle it allows players to build an idle deck that does all the work for the player and basically lets them watch the achievements roll in. First, players have to click on enemies to defeat them. However, as they earn gold and gems by beating levels, they can unlock new cards that increase their click damage and deal automatic damage to enemies. Achievements start the moment the player unlocks their first card.
While there are plenty of games that have overwhelmingly difficult achievements, there are also plenty that players can quickly farm to earn Gamerscore. Indie games are especially popular for this purpose. For example, there is Smart moves 2in which players can unlock all achievements within a few minutes just by defeating weak enemies and opening chests while replaying the opening levels. Another example is Butterflywhich players can quickly earn 1000G by simply running each level, without the need to actually progress. If they purchase DLC, this number can be increased to 4000G using the same technique.
Gamers who don't want to spend any money to improve their Gamerscore also have plenty to explore. Free games often have achievements and some of them are easy to complete. On Xbox, players can earn 1,000 to 1,200 Gamerscore by playing free games like Aimlabs, Technical faultand Ping Redux. Game Pass subscribers should also make sure to check out the free games each month, as many of them offer quick achievements or achievements that can be unlocked simply by playing the game.
Over the years, achievements have become a major part of gaming for most gamers as they have been widely available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms. While some Nintendo games have tracked what players have achieved, allowing them to do things like unlock new stickers or characters in Super Smash Bros.there is no global system for tracking achievements. A recent rumor has suggested that Nintendo could be as successful as its competitors in the near future, but whether this is accurate remains to be seen.
