Bakugo's Most OP Moments, Ranked

Bakugo is a character that might seem one-dimensional at first My Hero Academiabut he really grew and developed as the series went on. This incredible character growth made him a fan favorite who now stands as one of the most popular characters in the series.

Bakugo has had a lot of great moments and a few bad ones. While his first few impressions weren't great, he ended up having some of the most memorable moments My Hero Academia. These will always stand out as his most incredible performances in the series.

Victory at the sports festival

The UA Sports Festival Arc did a great job of showcasing what the main cast can do, with characters like Deku, Uraraka, Shoto, and Bakugo benefiting from the arc. Bakugo was the one who came out the best.

He constantly demonstrated creative ways to use his quirks, indicating how advanced he was in using his powers at the time. He ended up winning the tournament by defeating Shotoie after discovering his weakness. While he still wasn't happy with the result, it was one of the first signs of Bakugou's incredible potential.

Coming up big against Class 1-B

The joint training arc showed us a lot of what both Class 1-A and Class 1-B had to offer. In addition to once again showing off his strength, Bakugo's abilities as a leader and teammate shined here.

Going completely against what was perceived of him at the time, Bakugo created a plan that put him, Jiro, Sera, and Sato in a great position to beat the opposing Class 1-B team. Not only was it another great display of Bakugo's skills with his wit, but it also showed us how much he's grown over the course of the series.

Villain ambush during the USJ incident

The villains' attack on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint comes relatively early in the series, with many in Class 1-A not having much experience to fall back on when faced with a terrifyingly real threat. A lot of students got out and Bakugo threw himself right into the heart of the conflict.

Although Bakugo and Eijiro do not have the strength or know-how to take on Kurogiri, they are transported and ambushed by many villains. Despite their youth and inexperience, the pair manage to take care of business, with Bakugo outclassing the older, more experienced villains with ease.

Leading the charge to bring Deku back

This is another great moment that shows how Bakugo has grown stronger and matured over the course of the series. While all of Class 1-A set out to bring Deku back to UA during the Dark Hero Arc, Bakugo is right there leading the charge.

With their combined efforts, the group manages to wear down Deku and get to him. Bakugo was able to demonstrate how strong he had become during the fight, while also testing his strategic abilities. The whole ordeal not only solidified Bakugo as one of Class 1-A's best fighters, but also showcased his incredible growth.

Using One For All

Although it didn't happen in the series, Bakugo used One For All briefly during the series Heroes Risingfilm. During the battle with Nine, Deku shared his powers with his childhood friend, giving Bakugo a massive power boost.

As a result, the two combined for a devastating attack. Even if it was only temporary, Bakugo was at his absolute best here and it was amazing to see him and Deku use One For All.

Protecting Deku from Shigaraki

The battle against Shigaraki during the Jaku hospital raid took its toll on many heroes, Deku and Bakugo included. We saw both Deku and Bakugo hold their own in this fight, but Bakugo's best moment came when he saved Deku from Shigaraki's potentially fatal attack during the encounter.

Bakugo is impaled and pretty badly hurt, but with how tough he is, he still manages to walk away. Not only did he attack and fully recover, but his selflessness showed what a great hero he had become.

Takedown all for one

Few expected that it would be Bakugo who would continue My Hero Academia's too bad, but he did. While Deku and Shigaraki's fates were revealed to be tied, Bakugo eventually took over All For One and finally rid the world of the evil threat.

Not only had he just returned from the brink of death, but an already tired and battered Bakugo had finally done what countless heroes before him, including his idol All Might, had failed to do. It's a satisfying ending for All For One and a very well-deserved victory for Bakugo.
