How to get the rocket launcher back to use “explosive force” in Metroid Prime 4
Metroid Prime 4 players can get their rocket launcher back by finding and helping Mylesmember of the Galactic Federation. Once players progress a bit past Fury Green (specifically when you get to Grove of the Sacred Tree), a pop-up window will appear with information and distress beacon was found.
If you open the map, a destination marker will appear on it Sinkhole area, and that's where you'll find a somewhat useful NPC. It's worth noting that it's hard to miss, but we'll show you the way there in case you get lost.
From the Grove of the Sacred Tree, head to the southwest corner to find a hole that is perfectly suited for your Morph Ball.. From there, follow the linear path until you eventually find Myles trapped on top of the ship. Once you start shooting the plants that are holding the ship in the air, Samus will be surrounded by a bunch of enemies. Defeat them and then continue rescuing Myles until he falls to the ground.
Once rescued, the back of the ship will be open and you can proceed grab the rocket launcher near some boxes. Press R to fire an explosive missile with target tracking. Just keep in mind that rockets run out of ammo, so you can't use them willy-nilly.
You will now be able to break the Viewros Amber and continue Samus' story.
