The The Legend of Zelda fans will soon have the opportunity to own a replica of the Decayed Master Sword from Tears of the Kingdomthanks to the collaboration with First 4 Figures. While the actual release date has not been revealed, Zelda fans can pre-order this statue this month.
The Master Sword, wielded by Link in many games, has become one of the most iconic weapons in video games. Tears of the Kingdom give the weapon a unique twist by introducing a corrupted version due to the Gloom that came from below Hyrule Castle. As the name suggests, the Decayed Master Sword lacks the power of its normal version. As a result, players are encouraged to use it Tears of the KingdomFuse's ability to combine items together to create usable weapons. While this often means that the Decayed Master Sword remains in most players' inventory during the tutorial portion, it still left an impression.

The first 4 figures tease the fallen sword master statue
Recently, First 4 Figures announced a new statue that pays homage to the iconic weapon. As revealed by the company, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Decayed Master Sword Life-Size Statue will be available for pre-order on December 18th. Unfortunately, no release date has been given for the statue, but it will likely be released sometime in 2026. Additionally, pricing information won't be revealed until launch day, but the company says pre-orders for $10. While the price remains a mystery, the silhouette of the design has been shared on social media. Additionally, First 4 Figures claims it will be a “life-size” replica.
It is worth noting that this is not the first The Legend of Zelda statue released by First 4 Figures. The company has a line Breath of the Wild replicas that fans can purchase, such as one of the Sheikah Slate and another of the Hylian Shield. In addition, there are figures of Link, Zelda and champions. First 4 Figures even released a version of Majora's Mask from the cult N64 game. The price of these products varies significantly, but the life-size scale of the Decayed Master Sword Tears of the Kingdom suggests it might be on the expensive side. Currently, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild – Link on Horseback statue is the most expensive on First 4 Figures at $724.99.
While The Legend of Zelda fans are waiting for the Decayed Master Sword statue to be revealed, the year 2025 has already been pro Tears of the Kingdom. In particular, the game also received a Switch 2 Edition Breath of the Wildwhich improved the frame rate and resolution on Nintendo's latest hardware. Additionally, the enhanced version of the game introduced the Zelda Notes companion app. This added various additional features for Switch 2 players such as Voice Memories and Autobuild Sharing. Additionally, players can upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition Tears of the Kingdom free if they have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and already own the Switch version of the game.
It will be interesting to see what 2026 has in store The Legend of Zelda franchise. There is a film in development that is slated for release in 2027. With that in mind, the first trailer could be revealed next year. in addition Tears of the Kingdom released on May 12, 2023, so there's a chance that fans could learn about the next big Zelda game sometime in 2026.
Meanwhile, many players continue to play Tears of the Kingdom. Despite the title being several years old, players have taken advantage of the Ultrahand ability to stay busy creating impressive machines in the game. Hopefully, the game and related merchandise will help make the wait for the next game more enjoyable for fans.
