Chapter 1 and 2
After doing the initial fight with Dreglord and unlocking the Undertaker, players can start playing her in any expedition. The first chapter of her Remembrance progresses automatically and you can start doing the second chapter, which requires you get a memory fragment. Defeating any Nightlord is your only option here, so you can go after new DLC bosses like Balancersor even try an easier boss like that Tricephalus.
Chapter 3
Once you complete the chapter and return to the round table, head over and start the third chapter, which teleports you next to Iron Menial. During the conversation, he starts attacking you, and when you defeat him, he invites the other Nightfarers to kill you. Turn around and deal first with the executor.
Once he's down, go to the room with the round table and you'll come across here Guardian and Recluse. If you can sort yours Ultimate Art by hitting both Nightfarersthen you should use it here. Otherwise, save it for later.
After this you will have to fight Wylder near Small Jar Bazaar and finally Raider and Ironeye together in the same room where you unlocked the Undertaker. When you do, you'll hear footsteps and you can go to the garden and find the Scholar. Talk to him and complete this chapter to obtain Leather case for monocle.
Chapter 4 and 5
The fourth chapter is the Memory Fragments section, so you'll need to run another Expedition on Undertaker to take down the Nightlord. Once you return and start Chapter Five, go to the chapel and say a prayer. Go to the Iron Menial, talk to him and he mentions finding the Scholar when the new Shifting Earth is up and running. If you don't have an event active, you can go to Collectible signboard and buy it for two Sovereign Sigils.
Go to the Expedition table, load the Balancers on the Great Hollow event. Once you fall on the map, yyou need to get to the northwest part of the map. If you appear at the top of the map, you can take the Spectral Hawk Tree to get to the building.
It's not necessary to do this on the first day, but you can do it too, since you don't have to fight any enemies during this quest, so you can complete this section at level 1.
Aim for the gap, but don't go to the crab; climb the ledge to the right instead and head to the courtyard. If you have arrived at the entrance of the building, then the same applies in this situation: go to the courtyard to find the Godskin Duo.
You don't have to fight these enemies, especially since they are very hard to defeat at the beginning of the expedition.
Go left and into the building ahead where you'll find a staircase leading up. Go to the top floor where you will see a hanging stone. Chapter 6 and 7
The most confusing part of Undertaker's questline is chapter six. There is no option to run it and the information doesn't really help with what the player is supposed to do. Charge up the Night Aspect Expedition while playing as the Undertaker and defeat him. This will be a difficult task, so you can opt for duos or trios if that suits you. Once the Nightlord is defeated, Dismembered Finger can be found in your inventory.
Go towards the round table here and release your finger just before you approach the tree. You'll know you've dropped it in the right place when you hear the dialogue: “This will do… I'm sure” Once the item drops, head to the corpse at the end and interact with it to complete the ending, which also completes the sixth chapter.
Once you return to the Hold at the Round Table, you will receive Commemorative clothes for the undertaker and Glass necklace (Relic). This completes the Undertaker's questline and you can start tackling the Scholar's quest if you haven't already.
