The story of Tanjiro and Nezuko has won the hearts of anime fans around the world, and with the incredible animation from Ufotable, it's easy to see why the series has become as popular as it is.
But there are a lot of great anime out there. Just because Demon Slayer just because it's totally killing it right now doesn't mean there aren't other series that deserve some love. In fact, some may even consider these anime to be better.
Soul Eater
Soul Eater will always be a series that never felt like it reached its full potential. Long before Fire ForceAtsushi Ohkubo made his mark with another series: Soul Eater. The anime ran for 51 episodes, but did not fully adapt the source material, with the manga ending four years after the anime's final episode.
But even though it is an imperfect adaptation, Soul Eater is a great series that any shonen fan would love. It has great action sequences, sure, but its real strength lies in its characters and world-building. World Soul Eater is one of the most unique on the market and is carried by a great cast that makes every episode entertaining.
Samurai Champloo
Shinichiro Watanabe may be best known for the iconic 1998 series, Cowboy Bebopbut this is not the only great series that the legendary director released. Some anime fans may be familiar with titles such as Space Dandy, Children on the slopeand Carole & Tuesdaybut Watanabe's most famous series outside Bebop it must be 2004 Samurai Champloo.
Bursting with style and boasting an incredible soundtrack with contributors like Fat Jon, Force of Nature and above all the legendary Nujabes, Samurai Champloo is a completely unique series that weaves in various anachronistic elements that help give it its unique identity. The story of the temp worker Fuu and her journey to the “sunflower samurai” when she is joined by the outlaw Mugen and Ronin Jin definitely calls back to classic samurai movies and series. If you love samurai movies and shows and want to experience Watanabe's own twist on them, this series is for you.
Attack on Titan

We are a few years away from the end of the manga and anime, but AoT is still a big hit in the anime and manga world.
Attack on Titan isn't afraid to tackle darker themes and put his characters in impossible and often fatal situations. The story of the Paradisians' struggle to fend off the mysterious threat of the Titans and find a way beyond the walls that protect and confine them is an absolutely gut-wrenching experience with plenty of emotional moments, character deaths and surprise reveals that you won't get.
Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works & Heaven's Feel
While Studio Deen is 2006 Fate/night stay The adaptation is somewhat polarizing among fans of the series, with most agreeing that Ufotable's adaptations of the iconic visual novel are the best experience. Before they became famous for their work on demon slayer Ufotable has been doing great things with Type-Moon adaptations Fate/Zero and Garden of Sinners before what had previously become their biggest hit Demon Slayer; adaptation Fate/night stay the journey of the visual novel 'Unlimited Blade Works'. The studio later went on to adapt the 'Heaven's Feel' VN journey in a three-part film series, with the final entry coming out the same year as Mugen train film.
Both Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works TV series a Heavenly feeling movies are visually stunning anime that do a great job of fitting their routes in the time they have. Work at Ufotable Demon Slayer it is absolutely top-notch, but for studio work Fate should not sleep.
Jujutsu Kaisen

One piece
No anime or manga is bigger than One piece. Having been around for almost thirty years and still going strong, Eiichiro Oda's series has won the hearts of millions around the world. While the characters of One Piece are cute, Oda's great world building and story have made the series one of, if not the, most famous series today.
When it comes to Shonen anime, One piece can't be beat. The anime and manga have been around for decades and still focus on Luffy's journey to become the Pirate King and find the One Piece. While most titles could not have such impressive sustained success, One piece still attracts readers. It's as good today as it was 15 years ago. With so much going on in the manga right now and the anime getting a lot of love lately, it's impossible to say One piece not one of the best anime and manga experiences.
Fullmetal Alchemist has two modifications; the original 2003 and 2009 series BrotherhoodWhile the former is a solid anime, most will tell you that Brotherhood is the better of the two. And they wouldn't be wrong.
Brotherhood is an incredible adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's manga. Everything from the characters to the performances of the Japanese and English voice actors help make the series as strong as it is. Although the relationship between the Elric brothers and their quest to right their past mistakes serves as the driving force behind the series, Brotherhood it benefits from an incredibly strong cast of characters that make you really care about them and their motivations at the end. It is one of the best anime of the 2000s and for many an all-time classic.
