My Hero Academia Season 8 is the last installment of the series, which means that once it ends, there will be no new seasons. Last season My Hero Academia started airing in October 2025 and within a short period of time gained the attention of even non-fans thanks to its phenomenal animation quality. There is only one episode left in the season and everyone is impatiently waiting for the anime to end.

MHA Season 8 Episode 11 will air on December 13
My Hero Academia Season 8 Episode 11 will be released on December 13, 2025and ahead of the premiere, the anime's official X (formerly Twitter) account shared several preview images.
The first picture is of Midoriya smiling, followed by a picture of the entire Class 1-A with Shota Aizawa, their homeroom teacher. Another image shows Hawks, a pro-hero, enjoying a skewer.
There may not be many photos, and it's probably because the anime doesn't want to give away too much information, especially since it's the last episode of the eighth season. However, fans should be excited regardless because the season has been phenomenal. So they can expect Studio Bones to deliver an excellent finale.
Bones is looking for a replacement for my hero Academia
With My Hero Academia coming to an end soon, Bones is already scrambling to find another series to fill the void left by Horikoshi Kohei's manga. The studio has already been confirmed to be working on My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2, Marriagetoxin, and Daemons of the Shadow Realm, all of which will be released in 2026. These titles don't have the same level of fan following as MHA, but that could change with a good adaptation.
The best bet would be Daemons of the Shadow Realm, which is based on the manga of the same name by Hiromu Arakawa, the author of Fullmetal Alchemist. He's a genius with a pen, so it's entirely possible that Daemons of the Shadow Realm could be a big hit.
A new My Hero Academia project could be announced
There is a small chance that My Hero Academia will actually announce a brand new project after the eighth season ends. It could be an original anime overseen by Horikoshi Kohei himself. Many fans want to see a prequel where they see All Might in his prime. The character is extremely popular among fans, so a series centered around him is bound to be a hit.
My Hero Academia Season 8 Episode 11 will be released on December 13, 2025.
