Within the first few months after its release Megabonk had 20 characters for players to choose from. In December 2025, the Spooky update launched and players got another character to unlock. It was an exciting moment as many had already mastered the characters that were already available.

How to unlock Roberto in Megabonk

Roberto is not a default character Megabonkmeaning players won't be able to pick it up right away – they have to unlock it. First, they will have to complete a few tasks to fulfill the character's requirements for unlocking. They must then purchase it on the character selection screen.

To unlock Robert Megabonkplayers must first acquire the Scythe and defeat Spooky Steve. Players will basically have to defeat both of the main bosses in the graveyard in order to get Robert. Completing both of these quests will certainly be a feat, but our guide will provide players with some useful tips and tricks to make it a lot easier.

How to unlock a scythe in Megabonk

Like Roberto, Kosa was added Megabonk in the Spooky update. To unlock this creepy character, players will first need to obtain his weapon, the Scythe.

To get Kosa inside Megabonkplayers must defeat Big Bob – Graveyard map stage boss. Players will have to leave the crypt and visit the graveyard to meet Big Bob there Megabonk. In the Graveyard, they will be tasked with collecting four keys that will allow them to return to the Crypt. But before he returns, he must make the most of his time in the Graveyard. How to kill Big Steve in Megabonk

Next, players will have to defeat Spooky Steve, who is most likely to be encountered first, but will undoubtedly be harder to defeat. Creepy Steve will appear in the crypt once the timer runs out. If they don't get to the graveyard quickly, they'll come face-to-face with Creepy Steve before they even have a chance to properly level up.

Starting Weapon: Scythe – Slash around you in a circle. Killing Elite Enemies will attack with a stronger attack.
