One piece fans are gearing up for one last hurray before the anime goes on hiatus. In many ways, episode 1154 can be considered the finale of the Egghead arc, as the Straw Hats left the island and began sailing towards Elbaf.
One Piece: The Identity Of The Last Slam Hat, Explained
The Straw Hat Pirates are waiting for the last member. Their identities will be revealed during the One Piece Elbaf arc.
The highlight of the episode was Vegapunk and his plan to take on York and the rest of the World Government. For the most part, fans were unaware of how Vegapunk managed to sneak the transmission worm inside the Iron Giant. They finally got all the answers and more One piece Episode 1154.
Vegapunk knew that York had betrayed him
Two weeks before the Egghead incident, Vegapunk learned that one of the satellites had betrayed him and stolen part of the Mother of Flame. The individual created false memories to deceive others and was almost successful. However, Stella, Pythagoras and Shaka rolled up their sleeves and immediately got to work.
Stella and Shaka suspected Lilith of being a traitor. After all, she was the embodiment of the evil side of Vegapunk. The two remained faithful, but Pythagoras refused to accept that Lilith was a traitor. After a week of work, Stella, Shaka, and Pythagoras learn that it was York who betrayed them and sent part of the Flame Mother to the Five Elders using the Sea Beast Weapon.
Subsequently, Vegapunk decided to record a message and it was triggered by his death. His decision was a little bizarre, but it proved that the scientist was determined to let the world know the truth. After the message was recorded, Vegapunk hid the transponder slug inside the Iron Giant, knowing York wouldn't figure it out that easily. Eventually, Stellar, Shaka, and Pythagoras erased their memories so York couldn't find out.
Vivi is still traveling with the Morgans
Another standout moment was seeing Vivi chastise Morgans for spreading lies and propaganda. Vivi has always been brave, so she doesn't hesitate to speak her mind. Despite getting an earful from Vivi, it hardly affected Morgans. As head of the World Journal, Morgans feels his job is to churn out exciting news and share it with the public. He doesn't care if the news is fake or if it can cause panic among people. All he wants is publicity.

It will be the final episode of the Egghead arc
One Piece Episode 1155 will be released on December 28, 2025. It's called “The Promised Horizon – Hurray for the long-awaited Elbaf”. This episode will follow the Straw Hats as they continue their journey to Elbaf, the land of the giants. Every single crew member will be thrilled to leave Egghead Island in one piece. Usopp in particular will be excited to visit Elbaf as he considers Dorry and Brogy to be his teachers. In addition to him, Nico Robin will also be eager to land in Elbaf because he wants to meet Jaguar D. Saul.
One Piece: The Last Straw Hat could have been confirmed by Oda, and it's not Loki
Who the ultimate Straw Hat is is a big mystery in One Piece, but it probably won't be Loki.
Aside from the Straw Hats, One Piece Episode 1155 will focus on Lilith and Bonney, who both suffered a lot in the Egghead arc. Lilith lost four of her close friends and there was nothing she could do about it. Meanwhile, Bonney learns the harsh truth about Kumo's entire life, including how he gave up his humanity. Bonney was distraught after being bombarded with the truth, but managed to get her revenge on Jaygarcia Saturn. Finally, Bonney and Kuma can be together as they travel to Elbaf with the Straw Pirates.
One Piece Episode 1155 will also shed light on Jaygarcia Saturn's future. As the Deity responsible for dealing with all things related to science and defense, Saturn will be responsible to Imu, who clearly does not like failure. There is a chance that Jaygarcia Saturn won't be part of the rest of the story, but whether or not that becomes a reality remains to be seen.
Where to watch One Piece Episode 1155?
One Piece Episode 1155 will be available to stream on Crunchyroll. The episode will have Japanese audio with English subtitles. The latter can be changed if fans are not comfortable with the language. It would be remiss not to mention that Episode 1155 will be the last episode of the anime before it goes seasonal. Old fans will miss the format, especially since it's been running since 1999. But it's the right decision, as it will give the studio more time to produce episodes and keep the quality high.
