The Epic Games Store is officially unveiling the free-to-play mystery game on December 29th

The Epic Games Store officially revealed View-finder as its free game for the period 29-30 december This is the 13th title from the 2025 Showcase Christmas Gift, as well as the 16th overall free bonus that Epic Games Store users have been able to claim since early December.

The Portal– as a puzzle platformer, it's free to pick up for the next 24 hours, until December 30th at 8:00am PT / 11:00am ET / 5:00pm CET. Created by Scottish developer Sad Owl Studios, View-finder is a minimalist puzzle platformer that tasks players with navigating compact yet increasingly complex levels. Its central mechanic involves manipulating perspective by aligning 2D photographs with a 3D environment to transform the former into tangible geometry used to progress.
