The Steam Winter Sale started on December 18th and players can only take advantage of it until January 5th. There are literally thousands of games and DLC, new and old, marked up by various amounts, from a few bucks to almost the regular purchase price, which can make lingering through the storefront quite overwhelming. Batman Arkham Collection – $8.99 (85% off)
Players who want to get more games at once for a few bucks can get Batman Arkham Collection on Steam for just under $9 while the sale lasts. It's been over 10 years since the last game was released Batman Arkham trilogy, but there's something to be said for acknowledging the classics. Rocksteady Studios pack Batman the games have stood the test of time and provide a great option for players who have never tried them before.
This game pack contains the Game of the Year pro editions Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham Citytogether with Batman: Arkham Knight and its season. Two of the three have an “Overwhelming Positive” score on Steam and Arkham Knight not far from this mark. All together, that's a value of nearly $80, which would practically wipe out a hypothetical $100 budget if the sale didn't happen.

Steam discount Send it's much less significant, but it only came out a few months ago, so that's understandable. A combination of an interactive animated film and a chaos simulator, Send players step into the role of Robert Robertson III, a former superhero turned emergency dispatcher for a group of mischievous ex-villains trying to turn their lives around.
Released in eight episodes between October 22nd and November 12th, it has a 97 percent approval rating on Steam, and while the discount isn't as big compared to other games on the list, it still takes a small chunk off the regular $29.99 price tag for such a highly rated recent release. It also has an all-star cast featuring the talents of Aaron Paul and Laura Bailey, plus plenty of social media stars like Yung Gravy, Thot Squad, jacksepticeye and MoistCr1TiKaL to provide the laugh-out-loud action in this epic superhero tale.

Hades – $7.49 (70% off)
Hades 2 is one of the best video games of 2025 in the minds of many gamers, but the first game in the series is certainly nothing to scoff at for those who haven't picked it up yet. Since its release in September 2020 Hades has amassed more than 136,000 reviews on Steam, and 95 percent of players have left with positive reviews, falling just short of the popularity of its much more recent sequel (which is also available for 25 percent off during the Winter Sale).
That's a great feat for a roguelite from Supergiant Games that packs plenty of high-energy action into an engaging story. Steam discount for Hades is also a great deal for those who have jumped headfirst into the second game without playing the first.

Blue Prince – $19.79 (34% off)
2025 saw the release of many stellar indie games Blue Prince is easily counted among them. The debut entry for solo developer Tondu Ros, the estate crawler puzzle game has been around eight years in the making, and players can feel the love that's been put into it over time as they place and explore a wide variety of rooms to try and unlock the secrets of Mount Holly Estate.
Released in April Blue Prince was the highest rated game of 2025 when it was released, with an overall score of 90 on Opencritic. While it hasn't held that crown forever, it's still near the top of the highest-rated games of the year. Many console players already had access Blue Prince thanks to Day One inclusion on Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, but those who want to keep it forever can take advantage of the Winter Sale to add Blue Prince to their Steam libraries permanently.

If Blue Prince it is too peaceful and thought provoking Megabonk Steam discount provides players with chaotic battles against hordes of enemies and ridiculous level scaling. Released in September Megabonk it registers on Steam with a 94 percent approval rating, and its regular sub-$10 price tag is made even cheaper thanks to its inclusion in the Winter Sale.
Fans The surviving vampires flocked to try Megabonk's cast of characters, and they recognize a similar gameplay loop as they wipe out waves of enemies using randomly received power-ups. He may have gotten some special attention by pulling out of The Game Awards 2025 due to a technical issue, but plenty of fans feel he deserves a shot at the stage.

The winter sale also includes a significant discount Red Dead Redemption 2. The classic western action-adventure game has been around since 2018, but it's another game that falls into the timeless hit category and is being touted as a steal for anyone who's been avoiding it for so long.
After the story of the outlaw Arthur Morgan, the story of the Van der Linde gang from the turn of the century is one of the most famous in all of gaming. Red Dead Redemption 2 collected Game of the Year awards from over 175 different sources, and lost God of War at The Game Awards 2018, it's still a hot property for Rockstar Games that has fans wondering if they'll ever get Red Dead Redemption 3.

It might be a few years old at this point, but Dave the diver is still getting DLC in 2025, which will keep the combination of action adventure and restaurant management sim fresh. Developed by Mintrocket, Dave the diver it has a 96 percent rating on Steam, making it one of the best-received games on this list.
Presented through a deliberately pixelated art style, players take Dave on deep-sea dives during the day before switching to running a sushi restaurant with a daytime haul at night.
