Konami's new, previously unannounced Switch 2 game has been revealed via a leak. While gamers have been surprised by the number of titles that have made their way to the Nintendo Switch 2, in no small part due to the system proving capable of handling more modern games, this one may come as a surprise because of the way Konami is making the game.
Konami has seen a number of successes in 2025, thanks in part to efforts to revive some of its defunct or neglected franchises. During the year, Konami released Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster, Silent Hill fthe first original game the franchise has seen in years and brought its own Silent Hill 2 remade into the Xbox Series line of consoles. However, this new game seems disconnected from everything else Konami has done recently.
Every Silent Hill game, rated
Konami's Silent Hill has created some of the scariest horror games of all time, but some nightmares are more chilling than others.
New Konami game revealed by ESRB listings
Konami's new game titled Enchanted Wonderland leaked via ESRB. While reliable game leaks come from all over the internet and various sources, the ESRB is usually reliable because projects are listed here only after they have been reviewed for their content. In other words, it's almost certain that the game is not only in development, but also probably close to being fully revealed.
Enchanted Wonderland was rated E for everyone and is described as mild fantasy violence. The adventure game sees players exploring a magical world to “gather joy” and bring the theme park to life. Players are tasked with interacting with NPCs, learning magic, and playing mini-games through theme park attractions such as the UFO shooting mini-game. Other than that, the only clue the ESRB rating has given is that the game will have some kind of multiplayer component, as it admits that users can interact throughout the game.
Strangely, not even a trailer for the game has been shared yet, and it's unclear when Konami might decide to officially reveal it. However, as it appears to be rated only for the Nintendo Switch at the moment, it is potentially exclusive to that console family. If that's the case, then the next Nintendo Direct might be a good bet for when it will be revealed. Since the game has already been rated, there's also a chance that it could be a shadow game that lands on the same day it was announced, but it's mostly speculation for now.
If it's Konami Enchanted Wonderland will be revealed at the next Nintendo Direct, then it may take a few months or longer for players to find out about it. In 2023, the first Nintendo Direct took place in early February, but the event has moved on since then. In 2024, the first Nintendo Direct appeared on February 21st, while in 2025, the Nintendo Direct didn't happen until March 27th, which was particularly frustrating for upcoming players at the time. However, given that Nintendo was preparing to fully reveal the Nintendo Switch 2 at the time, this could have been the reason for the delay. In any case, gamers probably shouldn't expect to learn much more from Nintendo until at least the end of January.
While a family theme park adventure game probably wasn't something Konami fans were expecting or hoping for, it's not the only project on the publisher's slate for the near future. An E for Everyone rated game published by fellow Konami Darwin's paradox is due out sometime in 2026, and recent leaks suggest that the next Silent Hill game, Silent Hill: Townfallmay also launch in 2026. Konami is reportedly trying to turn it around Silent Hill into a year-long franchise, so survival horror fans can look forward to more from the publisher in the future.
