Any villain who hasn't been defeated by Deku

In any action anime, especially superhero anime My Hero Academiathe protagonist's task is to defeat evil and save the day. Sure enough, Izuku Midoriya/Deku has defeated powerful villains like Muscular, Overhaul, and even Tomura Shigaraki himself. Japan is safe again due to Deku's actions, but Deku can't be everywhere at once. It is often up to other heroes to protect their nation from harm on the streets.

Of course, a wide variety of minor villains were defeated or even killed without Deku getting involved, so fans care the most about the main villains who were defeated in Deku's absence. Most of them ended up in the hands of other pro heroes or UA students, and funnily enough, a few were attacked by other villains. Every once in a while, the bad guys will do Deku's work for him, though it's not something Deku should get used to.

The best female characters in My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is packed with iconic female characters, both heroes and villains. Here are the best MHA girls.

He met his end twice when Hawks used lethal force

Quirk: Dual

Cute villain Twice was one of the most likable members of the League of Villains as Deadpool's antagonist with a painful backstory. He played a minor role in the League's adventures twice until the start of the final war, where he quit. Many small and large villains were defeated or captured on this battlefield. Or in the case of Twice, killed.

It was an emotionally complex and controversial scene where the hero Hawks used his Fierce Wings Quirk with deadly force to fight Twice. To Twice's shock, Hawks decided to kill and Twice was unable to stop him. It's not something Deku would do, and most likely Endeavor wouldn't go that far either. Still, the Hawks did, giving him a mixed legacy in his eyes My Hero Academia fans.

Hood's defeat marked Rise of Endeavor as the #1 hero

Quirk: Muscle augmentation

Admittedly, Hood Nomu was little more than a plot device and was treated as such, although the character still had some significance. At the very least, the Hood's immense power was a testament to how far the Nomu concept could be pushed when Dr. Garaki has created terrifying critters that can compete with the top 10 pro heroes. This helped reinforce the sense of constant danger following All Might's retirement.

Above all, Hood was by fire at the end of Endeavour's trial My Hero Academiathe fourth anime season. Until then, Endeavor had not been seriously challenged or pushed, so Hood stepped up. For a terrifying moment, Endeavor seemed to lose to this lab-grown abomination, but then he rallied and went to Plus Ultra. Endeavor achieved a famous victory for the first time and began convincing the audience to support him as the new #1 hero.

Kurogiri disappeared during the final battle against all for one

Quirk: Warp Gate

Seeing how Kurogiri played a strictly supporting role in the League of Villains, he was in no danger of facing Deku or All Might in battle. Kurogiri's job was to hold back and teleport his allies in and out of the battlefield, such as at USJ and during the raid on the forest training camp. Later, Kurogiri was captured and then met his end as the final war raged.

The best Shonen anime series of each year 2010

2010 was a great time to be an anime fan. These stand out as the best shonen series from the era.

Deku didn't have time to fight Kurogiri, he didn't even have to try. The heroes needed the power of the captured Kurogiri to control the battlefield while Deku had his hands full with Tomura Shigaraki. Kurogiri's arc ended due to the sheer tension of him overusing his Warp Gate talent while supporting pro heroes against All For One. It didn't help that Bakugou's firepower dispersed Kurogiri's weakening body even faster.

The Gigantomachy was broken as they all turned on him as one

Quirk: Gigantization

The heavy-hitting Gigantomachia was difficult to even capture, let alone properly defeat in battle, but the pro heroes tried anyway. Deku hardly ever saw this oversized villain, so it fell to the likes of Gran Torino and the rest of Class 1-A to fight this beast. Deku was present when the UA students took over the Gigantomachia, although the credit mostly goes to students like Momo Yaoyorozu.

Gigantomachia escaped capture and joined the final war, but by then his time was up. Even worse, Gigantomachia paid the price for turning on his former champion, All For One. Without hesitation, the symbol of evil used powerful ranged attacks to destroy Gigantomachia once and for all. It was another example of All For One having disposable pawns, not true friends, and no one is safe from his malicious wrath.

Dabi was defeated on several levels when his family turned against him

Quirk: Blueflame

Dabi appeared quite early My Hero Academia alongside Himiko Toga as a mysterious villain with a blue flame quirk. For a while, Dabi was content to just be a cold-blooded villain who let his actions do the talking, but then the truth came out. Dabi introduced himself as Toya Todoroki, putting him at odds with his younger brother Shoto and their father Endeavor. In fact, the entire Todoroki family came together to stop the wayward Toya.

Dabi was ready to sacrifice everything to destroy the world of heroes that Shoto and Endeavor fought for, while spitting on his loving family. Dabi thus fell to heartbreaking depths as a villain, but all was not lost. After the Todorokis used their combined talents to pacify Dabi, the villain ended up being held in critical condition. In this fragile state, Toya Todoroki finally took his first modest step towards redemption, no thanks to Deku. Deku can redeem the likes of Gentle Criminal and La Brava, but saving Toy's heart is a family affair.

Himiko Toga gave her own life to repay Ochaco's kindness

Quirk: Transformation

Deku faced Himiko Toga on the battlefield more than once, which was no coincidence as Himiko was simply obsessed with him. However, the plot was more interested in blending Himiko's arc with Ochaco Uraraka's, with the girls mirroring each other. It was Ochaco who brought out the best and the worst in Himiko as it turned out later My Hero Academia7th anime season.

My Hero Academia: Will Deku Appear in Vigilantes?

Izuku Midoriya used to be a vigilante, but will he appear in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes?

Ochaco didn't need Deku's support to save the lost, crying girl trapped inside Himiko's villainous persona. Following Deku's example as a symbol of hope, Ochaco used her own “talk jutsu” to defeat the villain and save the girl inside. It hit much harder than Deku's verbal redemption for the Gentle Criminal, and that was why Himiko felt inspired enough to save Ochaco's life at the cost of her own.

Mr. Compress couldn't escape when the villains lost the last war

Quirk: Compress

A number of supporting villains in the League of Villains and the Paranormal Liberation Front never suffered defeat at the hands of Deku, although some did. My Hero Academia's star. One example is the showman villain Mr. Compress, who scared Deku when he used his Compress Quirk to capture Katsuki Bakugo. The Compress Quirk combined with the Warp Gate ensured that Deku had no chance of stopping Bakugou's kidnapping.

Mr. Compress was seen fighting the police during the Shie Hassaikai Arc, and then returned to the final war. At the time, Deku had his hands full with the likes of Lady Nagant and Tomura, so One For All's anger never turned on Mr. Compresso. Instead, Mr. Compress's arc died down as he and the other villains ended up captured when hostilities died down.

Re-Destro couldn't handle the power of Tomura's Awakened Decay Quirk

Quirk: Stress

Along with several other members of the former Meta Liberation Army, Re-Destro is one of the few notable villains to have been defeated by another villain. Curious died when she fought Himiko, and Geten lost a fight with Dabi, who was as tough as a Quirk, while Re-Destro tried in vain to defeat Tomura. They were equals as leaders of villain groups, and initially Re-Destro had the upper hand thanks to his Stress Quirk. Then Tomura turned the table and Quirk woke up.

This arc was a chance for the villains to enjoy a protagonist-style upgrade, with Twice, Himiko, and Tomura awakening their Quirks in the heat of battle. Re-Destro had little chance when Decay went down on a massive scale, and Re-Destro was actually lucky to survive at all. However, Tomura showed mercy and the two villains later teamed up to form the massive Paranormal Liberation Front.
