Despite Pokemon Legends: ZA only being released three months ago, it seems like a lot has happened with the latest entry in the Pokemon franchise on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that its first expansion, Mega Dimension, has already been released. Or maybe it's because The Pokemon Company has already seemingly moved on and started celebrating the franchise's 30th anniversary. Either way, ZA feels like a lifetime.
If this is the case for you, then ZA's Alpha Charizard promo expiration date may have snuck up on you quickly. To make a long story short, today is January 19th, so if you haven't claimed your prize yet, you should do so by midnight.
It's a pretty simple process and the reward is well worth the minute it takes to claim it.
First, you will need to invoke Link Play and then select Mystery Gift. From there you will be promoted to enter your password. This password is as follows: B1G0006.
Boom, now you have Alpha Charizard. It's level 36, so if you've just started the game, you'll have to progress a bit. But if you're post-game and have the Mega Dimension DLC, chances are you have a bunch of Rare Candy or XL Candy that can easily push level 36 to level 100 in seconds.
Oh, and he also has Solar Beam from the start. Just beware that if you try to change it, you'll lose Solar Beam until you find the TM.
Forget ZA Royale, I'm living my best Pokemon life with my Bulbasaur in Lumiose City
Far from battles, Pokemon Legends: ZA is a vacation simulator
Also, it goes without saying, but free is free.
ZA's mystery gifts have been solid so far
Currently, Alpha Charizard is one of the few notable arcane gifts available in Legends: ZA. It's also the only one ending soon.
In addition to Charizard, there are two separate free Mystery Gifts, one each for Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y Mega Stones, plus one for Diancie. That's one Alpha, one Legendary, and one Mythical for just an internet connection and an easy-to-enter password and a little patience.
Speaking of Mystery Gifts, the Switch titles have some pretty notable items, so if all the stuff is paid for, then there should be some massive rewards coming. Seriously, just look at what Scarlet and Violet had to offer, including Mew, Darkrai, Shiny Lucario, and Roy's Fuecoco, among other Master Balls.
Yeah, we'll take it all and then some.
