How to Level Your Characters (1 to 20)
Character experience is generated through Basic, Intermediate and Advanced combat records. These are found while exploring, collecting, opening chests, defeating enemies and completing quests.
You will need a total of 23,000 experience to progress a character from level 0-20. This can be obtained by combining, say, five basic combat records and 22 Interim records.

Elementary Combat Records is worth it 200 experience.

Intermediate Combat Records are worth it 1000 experience.
You will need to promote your characters and level your characters from 20 to 30 Protodisks, Pink Bolete and T-Creds. The table below shows how many materials you need to promote your character.

T-Creds are earned through exploration and quests, as well as a reward for completing daily missions.
Complete Space Logs and earn Protodiscs
You can unlock Protocol Space: Promotion in The Hub to complete daily missions to obtain Protodisks.
Exchange tokens for protodiscs
When you pull a banner, you'll often get character tokens for characters you've already mined your matrix with. These tokens can be exchanged on the AIC Quota Exchange for Protodisksas well as other valuable materials such as Protohedrons and Banner Tickets.
Where to find porcini mushrooms
The pink mushroom is found in The Hub at Rare Growths. One is located at south of the Old Waterworksas marked on the map above, and there it is another to the west of this one.
Up to six Pink Boletes will spawn here and reappear after 24 hours. This is in real time, so plan your promotions carefully.
You will need Protodiscs and Red Bolete to increase your character cap to 60.

Different characters require different materials to reach max levelwhich is level 90 in Arknights: Endfield.
How to upgrade your weapons
You can upgrade weapons with Arms Inspector parts. These are found through quest rewards, exploration and completing Protocol Space missions. You can also trade for them in AIC.
Alternatively, you can use other weapons. Level three weapons give 500 experience, level four 1500 and so on.
Increasing weapon potential
You can also increase the weapon's potential by crafting with other weapons of the same name. Boosting a weapon's potential provides flat bonuses to the weapon's stats.
How to tune weapons (20)
Similar to settlement, you will also need to promote your weapons to continue leveling them past level 20. This is called tuning.
To access a weapon level above 20 you will need a Cast Die and Kalkonyx.
Where to find a die cast
We found the Cast Die while exploring, opening chests, completing side quests, and otherwise finding everything we could find on the map.
You can also earn Cast Die by completing Protocol Space missions or trading them in AIC.
Where to find Kalkonyx
You can find Kalkonyx at Rare ore sites. We've included the location in The Hub, where you can find it in the image above to the west of the Woodland Fringes on the ridge. There is also a location to the west of the processing center.
you will have to return to this area, destroy the ore and wait for it to reappear.
You can also find spawns of the rare ore Kalkonyx in the Originium Science Park. One is in the north above the Research Centerand one to the south, right behind the Kohl's plant.

Where to find Auronyx
Auronyx is located at Origin of Lodespring map. You can find it on deposits of rare ores. We have marked two of the available locations on the above maps. The first location is located just east of Logistics areawhile the other point is located to the south of it.

Where to find Umbronyx
Umbronyx is llocated in Jingyu Valley, in the second chapter of the game. You will find this out right at the beginning as you progress through the story mission.
Heavy Cast Die can be found by completing quests and exploring in and around the Wuling City area, although you can also unlock this material by running the Protocol.
How to tune weapons (80)
To reach the max level on your weapons, which is currently level 90, you will need specific weapon crafting materials.
