Games with cross-platform saves are becoming the norm with cloud storage and cross-platform players. Cross-progression allows players to pick up where they left off on the couch or on the go if they don't feel like booting up their computers. It's also a bonus for businesses because players won't be deterred by lengthy replays if they buy the game again.
Cross-platform savings for games with co-op campaigns also incentivize players to pick up another copy. This is especially true for story-rich games or titles with hundreds of unlockables. Whether it's a single player or multiplayer game, developers can extend the life of the game by implementing this simple quality of life feature.

What is cross-depositing and what does it involve?
It is also called cross progressionCross-save means you can transfer a save between platforms, allowing you to pick up where you left off. Now, cross-save usually requires you to buy the game on each platformand it does not mean that buying one copy automatically gives you access to other versions. You still have to buy them individually.
Games that support cross-save will have their own requirements to complete the process. You'll usually need to create an account that can be used on different console and PC stores.

Like its predecessor, Hades 2 it not only supports cross-save but also seamlessly integrates it. If you start playing on PC but then decide to continue on Switch 2, just log in to your Steam account on your Nintendo console and transfer your progress. Hades 2 is a very long game that is designed to keep players coming back for years, making it more likely that some people will have multiple copies of the title. There's no point in starting over in a roguelike, so a cross-save makes it much easier to justify picking up the next version.

Massive CD Projekt Red games need to be purchased separately for each platform; however, their progress can be carried across each system. Without regional restrictions, players can load save data transferred between PCs, consoles to PCs, and PCs to consoles.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 must be updated to the latest patch before players can activate cross progression. Its toggle can be found in the Load Game menu or in the Settings menu under Gameplay. Players must also connect games to their GOG account to access their latest games on any connected platform.

Larian Studios has made significant improvements Divinity: Original Sin 2 do Baldur's Gate 3 a stunning success. Like Larian's love letter to a pen and paper adventure, Baldur's Gate 3 gave players the tools to unleash their creativity and fully immerse themselves in Faerûn. But Divinity: Original Sin 2 still holds up as one of the best examples of crowdfunded RPG-inspired tabletop video games in recent history.
Both games also allow players to continue their journey on any platform. While cross progression is limited to Windows, Switch, iPad and Mac pro Divinity, Baldur's Gate 3 players just need to create a Larian account to access their last five saves on their PC, PS5 and Mac.

A lone monarch, or two in split-screen multiplayer, must defend his kingdom from monsters called Greed in Two crowns of the kingdom. During a slow day and night cycle, monarchs assign villagers to build walls and towers, farm and hunt for food, and defend the crown. Greed can expose villagers and cause them to desert, so wily rulers must also defend their people, if only to conserve resources.
The Continue Anywhere update introduced cross-save across the devices the player purchased the game on. Players just need to create a Kingdom account to jump across platforms.

IN Daemon X Machinaplayers protect the planet from the Arms of Immortals using mechs and special abilities. Arsenals are fully customizable mechs with interchangeable weapons and parts that can be acquired or salvaged from defeated enemies. Components and weapons determine the pace and reach of each battle, though the fights are usually comparable to the faster ones Armored Core.
Cross-save is enabled between the Windows PC and Nintendo Switch versions via Steam Cloud. Switch users can also transfer their saves to the Epic Games version, though the process is more complicated than transfers from Epic to Switch.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion it has cross-platform, but I couldn't confirm that it supports cross-save.
Siralim Ultimate
Collect, fuse and explore monster dungeons
Although still in Early Access, Siralim Ultimate boasts a wealth of content from nearly three years in Early Access. Over 1,000 creatures can be captured and trained or fused to craft superior skills into one charged beast, and players have 20 classes with skills to complement their monsters. Dungeons can go up to 666 levels, are filled with bosses, full of loot and also monsters, which is perfect for players who love to dodge challenges.
Siralim Ultimate is available on multiple platforms. While players must purchase the game for each platform, their progress is transferred via cloud storage.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising

It boasts a wide range of colors and a correspondingly fantastic design, Immortals: Fenyx Rising offers open world combat with the forces of the Greek gods. Immortals: Fenyx Rising's the stylized world made the game stand out at launch, but its free-roam combat is nothing to sneeze at. The fast-paced air and ground combat with arcade controls is similar to the first God of Warwhere it's fun to tap, bounce and dodge.
Cross saves or cross progression works Immortals: Fenyx Rising thanks to Ubisoft's cross-platform cloud storage system. Players just need to link their platform account to their Ubisoft account, which can hold up to four cloud saves. It should be noted that players must manually select “Save Online” or “Load from Online” to use this feature.
RuneScape
More than 20 years later, the classic MMO is still active and thriving
Cross-platform was not a problem at all RuneScapeAn MMO that has been around since 2001. The classic MMORPG only crossed the threshold in 2021 when RuneScape was released for Android and iOS. Since then, players can jump with friends or ride solo from mobile to PC and back.
Most of the game's new updates are closed to members, but free-to-play users have unlimited play time and can reach level 99 without paying. It's great for players who want stress-free and background play with friends, single players who crave an MMO game, and players who love grinding or titles that allow you to switch tasks on the fly.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Activision supports full cross progression across all platforms for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Any progress made on the Battle Pass pro Warzone also applies to Cold war. This is a great deal for players who own the game on multiple platforms and have made significant progress in the game.
Like the others Call of Duty games, Cold war'Gameplay doesn't change, but its single-player campaign features multiplayer game-determining endings. It also features Fireteam, a new game mode that supports up to 40 players. Zombies also has a new campaign based on the Aether story.
A few more Call of Duty games support cross-progression; however, it's not consistent across records, so definitely check to see if it's important to you.

This feature allows mobile gamers to relieve their phones of the massive memory demands of each game. The convenience of cloud storage also allows console and desktop gamers to take their savings on the go.
Since all three require a Hoyoverse account, players automatically unlock cross-platform features. Since all of these games are huge time sinks that reward daily work, being able to continue playing on different platforms makes a big difference.
